The first time I made these I used soft margarine and they went like that. The next time I used proper butter and they were lovely. I think it really makes a difference in this case.

I've mostly been sorting paperwork and shredding today. Lots more guineapig bedding for DD2 :)

Is that the block Stork or the soft stuff? Because I think that could be the difference, but I'm no baker.

Absolutely fuming right now, I handed some forms in to my dr in Nov which they lost and then gave in a new lot which they are pratting about completing!!!! I am supposed to be going on a course next weekend and it is dependant on these forms. If I was as slow as this in my job I would be fired and I was promised these would be completed asap.
Dr just phoned, he is doing them now.

Just got the livingroom and hall stuff to do but it wont be all levels. I have done a lot this week and am pleased with it all so far.

    I also have a question?
I remember last year there were some "personal achievements" we could add for extra bonus stars (or something similar). Would there be a chance of doing this again please? I found it really helpful.

    Thank you!

Started decluttering area around Mac (filled with DH's stuff) and came across a bundle of Kelloggs vouchers which I've just put onto their website and have earned 3 free boxes of cereal! Put vouchers in for recycling, moved some papers and have found loads more - going to have Kelloggs stocks for a year at this rate

Off to declutter DS's nappy (apparently the dog used it; allegedly she takes his nappy of him, does her business, does it back up, puts his trousers back on - all without me noticing :rotfl:)

I have a sock monster in my house as well :rotfl:I mean where do they go

I actually put them all back in the washing basket and just keep washing them, in the hope that one day they will find their partner or just disappear into the sock monsters mouth :rotfl:

I have 2 bags off odd socks upstairs plus a few floating around....they have been relegated up there after going through the wash numerous times looking for their partners with no luck and am tempted, like Jo, to bin the lot!!!!

Just got some washing and a huge pile of ironing to do over the weekend. I'm very very pleased with myself cos given the week we've had here I've managed to do the housework. DH is still having bouts of pain but the painkillers are helping and he should be hearing today about when he has scans booked for but.............. he starts a new job on Monday so hoping he can work round that. Thank you everyone for being so lovely
