Yesterday I also baked Stollen (Christmas is over, I know, but I still had the ingredients and didn't have time before) and made 3 lots of soup (carrot/butterbean, broccoli/stilton, celery/stilton), mainly to get rid of leftovers in the fridge. All 3 are lovely and two are already portioned up and in the freezer.

This morning I've done a full freezer inventoryand tidied/hoovered the living room.

Now about to tackle the dining room of doom - not hungry enough for lunch yet, as I really had to make sure the cake was ok before taking some to friends later.

I'd updated my last post, but realised that it would leave it in the wrong place. Can't get used to not having my laptop and keeping a list in word.

Got DS back from pre-school - he's had a lovely time bless him (it was his first session today).

Do you know, I'm going to give the proper list thing a go; don't expect miracles from me but I'll do what I can! Mondays will be bad for me (got DS all day) but I should be able to do more the rest of the week.

Going to do lunch for me and DS and then will see if there's anything more on the list I can do. The whole house is looking better; when I walked in this lunchtime with Sam I almost felt I wouldn't die of embarrassment if someone turned up ;)

LadyL, thank you for sharing; I didn't know about your condition and am sending you a cyber hug as I can't do it in person

Toochoosey, sounds like you're not quite right doesn't it. Just take it steady and like you say think of it as a good way to losing weight. Keep sipping water. And no, I don't think you're being selfish feeling you don't have 5 mins to yourself as I often get like that.

Must go and lunch as so hungry!

OH must be getting a very strange kind of cabin fever...
he is clearing out his wardrobe!!!!!
Properly. Sorting through all his clothes, which I have been asking him to do for about 3 years. Admittedly he's only doing it so that he can fit his AirGun stuff in somewhere (I refused to do this for him!), but still, I am suitably impressed that he is doing a proper job, he's turfed EVERYTHING out onto the bed (Uh, I cleaned bedding and vacuumed yesterday, will have to do again now he's making mess in there!) and is sorting it into piles...
I'm speechless.... (Though I suppose he'll want rewarding in some way later )

BenW - stars are quite a new thing and lots of us don't get them or get them every week. Please remember that you have made huge steps forward and it gets easier if you keep on top of it. The first time you clean cupboard fronts takes ages but if you wipe regularly after that it takes just a few minutes.

Whole house (bar RofD) is now tidy.
    Two vats of soup cooking.

Going to have lunch and then I need to do a few bits on the pc before making muffins and collecting DS3 from school.

    Hiya!

I felt really down yesterday, I like routines and this snow has put it all to pot
And I have been very cold even with the heating on.

Awww, big hugs to you. As I said the other day, I suffer from depression and I HATE it if I can't do my routines; I don't like surprises and like to know what I'm doing and that's all been right out the window.

Tell you what, when I did the HHC I got so warm I even (wait for it) took off 1 of my 2 jumpers I'm wearing ! Of course I'm cold again now and just about to get my bodywarmer to put on top; I swear I'm like The Michelin Man with all these layers :rotfl:

    Hope you feel better soon.

Off up to the bathroom now to see if I can get some of those jobs crossed off (bathroom blind - yuk, I hate that job!)
