Thank you. I didn't really want to throw them away. I will sit and sort them into piles and do as you suggest. The wedding ones might just go back into the bag in the loft. I have my bouquet, the fiddly things off the cake and other such stuff. I have my mothers and aunts headdresses from their weddings. I have so much carp. Aaaaargh!

Just found all their little bands from their wrists etc. I can't get rid of them.

PP and cosmo thanks for your suggestions too. I won't burn anything just yet. I think I need some shoes boxes.... I can't afford any new shoes.......

    HHC Sorting anyone? 9pm?
They sound like treasures not carp! Just sort it and organise it, so nothing gets damaged.
Why don't you ask on your local freegle or freecycle group for empty shoe boxes?

Poohbear, I am fairly ruthless with everything (except books obviously which should never, ever be destroyed or rehomed) but this stuff I would keep. My Mum sorted out a lot of my Grandmas stuff a few years ago and gave me back the letters I wrote to her when I was small so I had the choice to bin them or not. It is a lovely thing to have and gave me such positive memories.

I need to sort clothes and packed lunches for the morning, and to nudge SS1 in the direction of the DW that needs emptying. TD contents need folding and putting away, trying hard to keep on top of this so we dont have piles of clean washing sat round again but it is so boring to do.

Don't forget to check for wet gloves and shoes! I forgot last night and had to find gloves five minutes after we should have left today.

nag? You... you wouldn't know how :p;):D

List made for tomorrow... having seen that hex has been energetic and done a workout I'm feeling guilty... but I'm wearing about a million layers and don't have a space that I can really use... I might try to think about how I can organise myself tomorrow!

So... do I go for it with the icecream, or get ahead and clean the bathroom ... I really do know how to live, don't I?!
