    I am back in bed feeling lousy! ::( Definately overdid it today but it was fun going out in the snow, would not have missed it for anything.

    Anyway no star for me!:o It is a bit of a pain having an illness that folk don't believe in but I am getting used to that now! I have even had one person refuse to talk to me :confused::( Trouble is they only see you on "good" days never when your legs are buckling under you at home! I am well aware that there are worse illness's and I see your point about many illnesses leading to this. I had 2 flu virus's one after the other and returned to work too soon and was never the same. It did however take a few months for me to go really downhill and develop more symptoms so be warned it can get you some time after the initial illness! Please rest when you can! ME/CFS has affected my limbs, speech, brain, digestion and worse of all my self esteem.

    Apologies Toots but had to get it out of my system.:o
    Have you looked at food allergies or spoken to a holistic nutritionalist? They can do amazing things for ME and CFS.

    Well done on your first star Kalojac - feels good doesn't it!

    My house is on track again and with children back in school tomorrow it can only improve. I'm off to do a HHC in the utility room though it's very cold in there. The plan is;

    - empty dryer
    - sort hangers
    - clear gubbins off the floor
    - clear at least one shelf of utility room related carp!

    Hope I don't freeze! xx

    Fabby Dave from work just rang to say school closed tomorrow. Devon has suspended all school transport until further notice - no school buses, no kids. Also, head is showing consideration for all, by giving early warning of closure, and considering how people will get home. This is true leadership, IMHO. Glad you are ok, valli.

    eta valli I love you for this posting my myriad achievments. You have used "myriad" correctly. Yay!

    In my madness today I have sorted the Christmas decorations. I put all the ones I don't want any more into a box for DD and SIL to look at first before I Freegle them. Then, peg sorters will love this. I got an old wine box and sorted the tree decorations into colours in the bottle spaces. I then put matching coloured tinsel on top so next Christams I will know exactly what is in each section. The little wooden ones have their own section and so have the glass ones, which are packed with silver tinsel. DH is beginning to look confused at my strange behaviour.

    I also found a huge bag of our wedding cards, birth cards for all four children and probably all their b'day cards for their first few years. I need to get rid of all of them but just need to read them again once. Can I use them for the fire to help with fire lighting?

    The living room is now totally back to normal:) But not finished yet.

    You can't get rid of them - that's flying too far!
    Organise the children's cards into piles for each individual one and then put them in an envelope and hand it to them next time you see them. THAT way you're handing them their rightful belongings of which you've just been custodian all these years. If they choose to throw them away, sobeit, but at least you've given them the option.

    The wedding ones - put them neatly in an album for your kids to read once you've gone xxxx
