      I've been Money Tipped!
I am back in bed feeling lousy! ::( Definately overdid it today but it was fun going out in the snow, would not have missed it for anything.

Anyway no star for me!:o It is a bit of a pain having an illness that folk don't believe in but I am getting used to that now! I have even had one person refuse to talk to me :( Trouble is they only see you on "good" days never when your legs are buckling under you at home! I am well aware that there are worse illness's and I see your point about many illnesses leading to this. I had 2 flu virus's one after the other and returned to work too soon and was never the same. It did however take a few months for me to go really downhill and develop more symptoms so be warned it can get you some time after the initial illness! Please rest when you can! ME/CFS has affected my limbs, speech, brain, digestion and worse of all my self esteem.

Apologies Toots but had to get it out of my system.:o

Sorry for the non flying posts Toots!
I've S/S'd everywhere again today before work - so still looking good apart from the kitchen floor due to even more snow! Will get on my hands and knees and do it in the morning before work. Since I got in from work I've closed all blinds and curtains and decided what we are having for tea - only problem is I'm not hungry yet!!

Have been to see a good friend for coffee and cakes this afternoon and have borrowed her shovel for dh to use tomorrow to dig out car and road if school is open Friday.

Ah, I wish Mr LW worked closer, as I worry myself sick about his 30 mile journey to work in these conditions. Sadly, in the IT industry, if you're the wrong side of 50, it's a question of take work where you can.:( He was out of work for 11 months at one point, and applied for over 300 posts in that time. .

in IT it has nothing to do with age.. OH is 28, he was made redundant last April and has absolutely nothing.. there isn't even anything worth applying for!

ETAA Have deleted some of my offtopic comments Sorry Toots/Piggers

Just post a heap of waffle and off-topicness when you post about your achievements.. I'm sure you have some.. even I have some and I do nothing! Today for example.. OH loaded DW twice and I dried and folded 3 loads of laundry and the children put it away..
12 x 4 pints :eek::eek: What size of freezer would she need to store that? Selfish cow  OK, have ventured out. Its a blinking nightmare.

I have 2 freezers.. I did almost jump to her defence saying she might work in a cafe or something.. but obviously she doesn't!

Oh Toots, I'll have a Tuesday and Wednesday star when you have a moment please :D

Have boiled up Sunday's carcass for stock and now have chicken soup cooking - DS is coming back in about half an hour for some (DiL is working late...). DD ended up coming home early too because they closed the office where she works (posh solicitors in the CC place we were talking about the other day Rach!)

NN phoned. She's knackered. Was the first day of the January sales at the shop where she works so she had to be on her feet more than usual. She'd been wise enough to take a taxi in this morning and back but, with the snow on the pavements and her dodgy knee and still burnt foot (which is healing slowly but nicely), she was nervous about walking up to the corner shop to buy some fags so asked if I could get them for her. So I did. And got a G&T as a tip :D:beer:

The list of schools closed in the Hampshire/Dorset area that's being read out on the radio at the moment is ENORMOUS! I won't know if my office is open until about 6.30am tomorrow when the Vice Chancellor will post a message on the website... if we get the freeze they are expecting, doubtless the academics will wimp out!
