Poor Piggers and the horror of family life kicking in - mahoosvie warm voddy toddy sent over to calm the nerves virtually

As for me a long long commute due to the weather and no flying apart from washing up the dinner pots which is good and a S+S of the kitchen.

No plans as yet for the weekend so will catch up then I reckon

Toots - huge apologies for taking up alot of space - I'm quite happy to go back and delete my posts if that will help make the thread shorter cos I have posted alot - many many apologies

Don't worry about going back and deleting any posts as everyone will have already read/skimmed and those that haven't yet will get very confused if it seems like folk are replying to no longer existing posts! Toots is trying to make it easier for us all and if we keep some flying relate stuff in our posts then it should all be ok.
That sounds quite dodgy ;) Just wanted to say that it's not! The wonderful Toots sends things that the local hospice recycles to raise money :A :A

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Must admit that went through my mind as well!

Well I went out to clear the car in preparation for tomorrow only to find it would not start  Dad came and jump started it for me, the battery is leaking :eek: again. It has already been replaced twice back in the autumn, the second time was because it was leaking unbeknownst to me until it failed. Had the alternator checked at the time and it is fine. So another extremely annoying thing to sort. Car now loaded with jump leads in addition to spade and other bits and bobs.

Kids decluttered to bed, DW on and sock pairing done.

Ballyk and a bottle of stella for me ;)

in IT it has nothing to do with age.. OH is 28, he was made redundant last April and has absolutely nothing.. there isn't even anything worth applying for!
IT market is starting to pick up (depends what area he specialises in). If you want me to look over his CV etc then email me... I do quite a bit of mentoring & career coaching for people on various career paths in IT for all ages (some, scarily are much older than me!) and I'm happy to help if I can.

I'm debating having some brioche, ice-cream and banana as a treat this evening (seeing as it is my birthday :D). My lovely new online food diary/trainer thingy is telling me that I've only eaten 1400 calories today, and I should be eating 1800... then again, it doesn't yet know that despite walking to the post office I really haven't moved much today!

    Off to locate that list...

Monday ~ Kitchen and Dining Area
    Level One
    Level Two
    clean blinds/curtains
    Level Three
Clean and wipe the table, replace the cloth if necessary
    Dust and deweb

    Extras
    1. wash windows
    2. Sort recipe books/files
Greenbee will love me.. :D Thanks Piggers :smileyhea...

Tuesday ~ Master bedroom and landing!

    DONE :D:D:D:D

    Extras
    1. Wash windows
    2. Straighten a shelf of books or ornaments..
Wednesday - Living room, hall and stairs
    DONE :D:D:D:D (even the extras!)

You can't get rid of them - that's flying too far!
Organise the children's cards into piles for each individual one and then put them in an envelope and hand it to them next time you see them. THAT way you're handing them their rightful belongings of which you've just been custodian all these years. If they choose to throw them away, sobeit, but at least you've given them the option.

The wedding ones - put them neatly in an album for your kids to read once you've gone xxxx

Thank you. I didn't really want to throw them away. I will sit and sort them into piles and do as you suggest. The wedding ones might just go back into the bag in the loft. I have my bouquet, the fiddly things off the cake and other such stuff. I have my mothers and aunts headdresses from their weddings. I have so much carp. Aaaaargh!

Just found all their little bands from their wrists etc. I can't get rid of them.

PP and cosmo thanks for your suggestions too. I won't burn anything just yet. I think I need some shoes boxes.... I can't afford any new shoes.......

    HHC Sorting anyone? 9pm?

Just go in a shop and ask for some - most places will give you a few for nothing

Yep - I'll join you and sort a box or 2
