Don't worry about going back and deleting any posts as everyone will have already read/skimmed and those that haven't yet will get very confused if it seems like folk are replying to no longer existing posts! Toots is trying to make it easier for us all and if we keep some flying relate stuff in our posts then it should all be ok.froddington wrote: »That sounds quite dodgyJust wanted to say that it's not! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Must admit that went through my mind as well!
Well I went out to clear the car in preparation for tomorrow only to find it would not start  Dad came and jump started it for me, the battery is leaking :eek: again. It has already been replaced twice back in the autumn, the second time was because it was leaking unbeknownst to me until it failed. Had the alternator checked at the time and it is fine. So another extremely annoying thing to sort. Car now loaded with jump leads in addition to spade and other bits and bobs.
Kids decluttered to bed, DW on and sock pairing done.

Where's my list gone...in IT it has nothing to do with age.. OH is 28, he was made redundant last April and has absolutely nothing.. there isn't even anything worth applying for!
I'm debating having some brioche, ice-cream and banana as a treat this evening (seeing as it is my birthday). My lovely new online food diary/trainer thingy is telling me that I've only eaten 1400 calories today, and I should be eating 1800... then again, it doesn't yet know that despite walking to the post office I really haven't moved much today!
Off to locate that list...

You can't get rid of them - that's flying too far!
Organise the children's cards into piles for each individual one and then put them in an envelope and hand it to them next time you see them. THAT way you're handing them their rightful belongings of which you've just been custodian all these years. If they choose to throw them away, sobeit, but at least you've given them the option.
The wedding ones - put them neatly in an album for your kids to read once you've gone xxxx
Thank you. I didn't really want to throw them away. I will sit and sort them into piles and do as you suggest. The wedding ones might just go back into the bag in the loft. I have my bouquet, the fiddly things off the cake and other such stuff. I have my mothers and aunts headdresses from their weddings. I have so much carp. Aaaaargh!
Just found all their little bands from their wrists etc. I can't get rid of them.
PP and cosmo thanks for your suggestions too. I won't burn anything just yet. I think I need some shoes boxes.... I can't afford any new shoes.......

Just go in a shop and ask for some - most places will give you a few for nothing
