  • thifty - the filter, should be on the bottom of the DW, has a bit of mesh stuff to catch the food bits that come off things. Mine looks like a big stainless steel round thing with a plastic handle, you turn the handle and lift it out

Poohbear I have the box my boots came in if you want it? I’m so glad you are keeping the cards, I love re- reading mine

Tooch I hope your tummy is better soon

Big hugs Quillion, I hope everything will be ok xx

Doozergirl you are doing really well with flying even if it's not on the list xx

Greenbee go and step on to the bottom step of your stairs with one foot then other foot, step down one foot at a time then repeat until you can do no more. Exercise was shown on This Morning – very good for cardio and fat burning and takes up no space! I shall be doing this for my exercise tomorrow.

Flying: I've had my half an hour to myself which was having a nice bath. I've done some tidying.
Tomorrow I will do 2 HHC's (maybe more but that's the minimum) even if DH is still at home all day, I've got to do something! Today was nice, enjoyed relaxing with him, but must fly properly tomorrow.

  • Hi all, Well I've not been doing the lists this week as kitchen is being decorated,
so all the contents are all over the rest of the house!

But in this mess I decided to declutter all the clothes, I went through all the wardrobes with a very determind attitude, I now have 2 bags for the next charity collection bags. The wardrobe in ds room that has had our clothes in it, theres now enough space for all of his stuff, still got to declutter the floor and shelf in said wardrobe but thats for tomorrow!

I have also loaded the dw, wm and td x2. Cleaned the ensuite, done some food shopping. done level 1 in living room. Oh I made my first chicken stock, not quite sure what to do with it next but I made it!

Hope all are ok will catch up soon. I think we are visiting DH sick Nan in hospital on sat if we can get down there they have had so much snow, if we were still living where we used to we would be snowed in right now! EEEK!

Right I am done for the week after today's marathon!!!! Descided to clean out our spare room cupboard which was completely GROSS... it is now beautiful- OH will be impressed when he gets home at the weekend because it's usually a sty! Had my little helper with me... found some polystyrene in an empty box and crumbled it EVERYWHERE.... nice managed to chase a thousand poly balls around with the hoover! Got 3 charity bags a one rubbish bag all being stored in the garage and the loft has some new bits and pieces that I kept tripping over!

I feel shattered so having a cuppa and some Christmas biscuits! Will make up the usual Weds list tomorrow....

Keep up the good work guys!!

    ahhhhh feeling all organised :D

Heating noise problem solved (at least partially)... bottom of kitchen radiator is cold... I have sludge in the system . Now is NOT the time to be flushing the system... I also need to take up floorboards in my bedroom and check the lagging, as there is a hot spot on the kitchen ceiling which may be an unlagged pipe. Maybe I can get the builder to do that... or my dad ;). Both jobs need to go on the list anyway...

A small heads up from a friend in the fuel trade, Esso and Shell drivers were refusing to leave depots with fuel today because of weather conditions......if you need your fuel without fail it might be worth keeping a little more in your tank than normal.

Been back a short while, ended up being naughty having a pub tea as we spotted bother ahead when a blizzard started. Pleased we did as watched a wagon not move for over an hour. We could see the road from the pub to see when the traffic cleared.

Unfortunately I naffed up, trusted DP over the window sizes and we ended up with the wrong size curtains......so I will have to phone them/go back tomorrow if they have them or order online if they don't have them. I did get some fleece throws to keep us warmer, boys picked their own. Got some nice photo frames. Oh going to Dunelm is just sooooo bad haha!

Anyway, flying not huge amounts done but have done living room, dining room, kitchen, hall, stairs and bathroom so can I please have 2 STARS!
One day I might be more organised...........

I have done the weekly shopping, fingers crossed for Saturday delivery - all the Friday slots were already gone! I've also washed up - and watched the snow falling....

We are due another heavy snowfall at midnight, and I'm not looking forward to tomorrow morning. I'll check the local radio website, and see what they say about the roads.
