Mirror polished in downstairs loo. Windowsills cleaned in loo and living room (condensation is leaving nasty marks). Kitchen blind cleaned, and all kitchen chairs wiped down. Kitchen door wiped down, and curtain poles... Pictures and clock in kitchen dusted... I'd better check my list as I think I might have finished the kitchen now
Yup... All done. Shows how little work I've done this week
. Spare room and bathroom shouldn't take long (unless Pigpen comes up with some very unusual stuff on the list!) as I've done quite a bit in them already. It's the study and utility room that really need the work now.

I havent read the thread today, school was closed and I was mega busy with the children all day. Will try and skim a bit tomorrow but wanted to post briefly about my carpy morning.
Had a massive post typed but its too waffly so deleted it.
DS was supposed to have his assessment at the community Paeds at 9.15 (right in the middle of the school run of course) this morning at the hospital but we couldnt get there because of the snow, I'm very disappointed and upset that now we will have to wait all over again. Was all psyched up emotionally about it and felt really tearful this morning. We had got everyone ready including a change of clothes when we thogt school was open and then found out it was closed, we tried to go but couldnt get the car off the road. Children then all had tantrums for various reasons and DH just walked off into his study and left me in tears with them all. So it was all very stressful here this morning. The afternoon was better (Wii and snowman building
To top it off our smoke alarm is playing up, it started at 6.30 this morning, chirping, then stopped all day, just started again, we have changed the battery and its still doing it. DH is too busy playing online COD with his friends to properly fix i, I am really hacked off and if I go to bed, which I need to do, the bl00dy smoke alarm will just keep me awake. Wonder if its cos its cold ???
Anyway night night and sorry for the whinge xJan GC: £202.65/£450 (as of 4-1-12)

Morning lovely flyladies,
All newbies, and enjoy your flying.
Rosepink -Hugs as ever hon
LadyL -Glad you got your power back.
Jinkypinks -
Quillion - Big big hugs hon, hope things go Ok today
Poohbear - I have all my christmas decorations stored in seperate colours too! Started doing it a few years ago. I do have an overspill suitcase with oddments and precious things in plus the lights and candles all live in a giant plastic crate, but it is really organised and I love it.
Mudbath - 12 x 4 pints, that is just sheer greed... I bet it was hard for you not to say something to her.
Greenbee - I am sorry I missed your birthday and I hope you had a lovely day. (Joan of Arcs birthday too but you probably knew that already!)
JillD - so sorry your day started so badly.
I didn't post yesterday as I had some emotional things to deal with. My head is still not quite there. I managed to text the lovely LadyL first thing but then my network (Orange) went down and was down for hours. Even my part of south Devon had about 6 inches of snow last night, and my newly serviced gas fire decided to stop working so all in all it was a cold day here. I did however get all the decorations down and packed away.
My cat is most affronted that there is snow everywhere outside. She was also demanding to know why the fire was not on. She spent the day going onto the hearth and sticking her nose almost into it and then turning and looking at us and meowing loudly. She sulked on the sofa for hours and was only happy when I went to bed and she could lie on me!
OK, off to get my list

Morning All
Back to work today I would have thought - no more snow so seems to be no reason not to be - my roads are still just ice but the main roads are clear so I will drive.
Quillion - hugs - don't panic until you know what's going on and then get some advice,
Jinks - whatever were you doing up at that time? Wet the bed?
Well I'm goin to unload the WM and get ready for work
Have a good day all
Hugs
