Completely off topic but i have to put this somewhere and i can't face the other boards.

DH got a phone call this afternoon from work to tell him he is suspended pending investigation of several discrepancies on start ups on Sunday night that have cost alot of money. He has to go into work tomorrow to pick up a letter detailing them and then go back to a meeting.

DH works in a factory and is a quality technician. He has been there for 20 years.

It is the same company that made me redundant last year. I feel sick with worry as if dh loses his job we are well and truly f***ed.

You have no further info at the moment so don't worry about it yet.. when you get the letter take it to a union rep.. OR a solicitor.. and see what they have to say.

Thanks for the advice re the dishwasher, trouble is it's never empty:rotfl:don't know how i managed without one before! Not sure where the filter is will have to get the instruction book out!
Have you calmed down now the piglets are in bed Pigpen, know I have! Although Gordon is helping with that too tonight.

HHC under the sink, which kinda fed onto cleaning a door (both sides) and some wall, and a worktop...

so list is now getting shorter..

library - find & return books (found but not open until tomorrow?)
p.mag - issue invoices, start 2009 accounts (in year is done - need to add on last 4 months)
nct - sort garage bits, update treasurer, get out NNS lists & make a date for planning meeting, speak to HS, RBC forms up to date?
DS's bedroom (clothes try on, new lamp, change bedding, hoover)


Monday ~ Kitchen and Dining Area
Level One
Sweep and mop the floor
Level Two
clean blinds/curtains
Clean the hob and oven
Level Three
Clean and wipe the table, replace the cloth if necessary
Dust and deweb

Extras
1. Sort recipe books/files
Tuesday ~ Master bedroom and landing!
Level One
Strip wash and replace the bedding!
Declutter the floor.. laundry gone, shoes gone.. etc
Level Two
Clear a box of stuff from the landing.
Vacuum and turn the mattress
Vacuum the floors
Level Three
Tidy a chest of drawers/wardrobe.. is there anything past its best that can go live elsewhere?

Extras
1. Dust and deweb
Wednesday - Living room, hall and stairs
Level one
Clear floors of clutter and vacuum them
Level Two
Wipe sofas
Vacuum under furniture you can safely move.. I don't want any hurt backs!
Level Three
Dust and deweb allthose corners and electrical appliances and shelves.. etc
Clear mantel and put back only what should be up there!

Extras
1. polish and dust all the electricals!

Ok, maybe I should take my half an hour now. Thought I'd check the list, forgot there was a half hour 'to myself' in there I'm sort of having a problem in that I'm spending ages cleaning stuff and then when I look at the list, whatever I've done isn't on it! I washed the windows in the lounge = not on the list.

I've been dusting for ages. I've even dusted four pictures on the wall - I'm surprised how yucky they were.

Leaving hoovering until last but tired now. Hair appointment in the morning though! :j

H is asking where they put his wife!

DS decluttered some chicken soup and I have decluttered him back to his home, done the washing up, watching the end of the Linda Le Plante thing then I'm off to bed
