I appear to be making progress, and apart from the study (where all the homeless stuff seems to end up) everything is looking pretty good. Bathroom needs a scrub, utility room needs a bit of a blitz (but it is improving!) and I need a good couple of hours filing/paperwork sometime. However, I'm now feeling a bit back achy (from sitting at the laptop too much I'm sure :D... it'll be all that hard work I'm doing ;) so I'm going to have a rest and a read before getting on with anything else.

    Note to self p 45

I HAVE BEEN TO WORK which you probably all guessed cos I haven't been [STRIKE]clogging up the thread[/STRIKE] posting my myriad achievments. I got picked up by dad (though he parked two houses up and wondered why I was 'down the road' chatting - I was outside my own house but he wouldn't have it) he took me to a colleagues, we picked up another colleague and made it from there.
One of our governors came in to shovel snow and asked what else he could do to help - I jokingly said he could go and get my car for me and bless him he did...and brought it back up to school. Roads are icing up rapidly though it is going to be very very cold tonight. Flying wise I have decluttered snow from front of house in the hope that it will clear quickly. DD has gone dancing and I dare NOT risk the car to go and pick them up; it is not reliable and wont be as it cools down. I have had a fox in the garden - woke up at 3:20 (among many other times) saw them out front then heard it go through the unlocked gate...
every time I closed my eyes last night I could see snow.
Going to get some soup now and see if I can find out what's happening re DD.
