Been to the post office. Village is eerily quiet! Still snowing... you can't see the tracks from the cars that went out this morning... It's getting dark now, so I'm going to close the curtains, investigate the fire, and do a bit more pottering in the kitchen & living room. I might even get the hoover out :eek: as once I've done that lot I can put it away for a bit...

Data centre at work has been down today (which they emailed us about, but of course we couldn't see it... luckily the US guys told us when they logged on this morning...) and is just up... in time for them to tell us that it'll be shut down again tonight for maintenance. So I won't be spending this evening working. I'll change laptops later and get some banking done (I have cheques to pay in!)

Sorry, I know I'm a couple of days behind, have been down with a bad cold for the last few days. Had all the intention of doing some yesterday, but then I got a call saying that my old cat (who now lives with ex) had to be put down, and I wasn't in a mood to clean. Finally managed to get some cleaning done today

Finally braved the outside world, went shopping, finally have food:D

As you can see I have done nothing today:o and am unlikely to get a star for today anway, cos we have so much stuff in the hall, rubbish from Xmas still:eek: bin was emptied today though so, i will fill it up and see how I get on then:A

6. chase up next return for dhs shoes
7. book haircuts for us all

9. Run appliances through a clean cycle.. degunk filters etc too not sure how to do this to dw, wm done already
