    Afternoon all,

Hugs to Helen, sorry your Mum's being a not nice person. Hopefully they'll find out what's wrong with him soon.

We've been in the garden and built a snowman as big as DS2. Then we went to the park with the sleigh. There were loads of people there. On the way home though i fell over and have hurt my knee, hip and strained my groin. I did the splits:o. The boys are back in the garden now builing another snowman, i can see them out of the window and they're playing nicely together for once so they can stay out there while i have a little potter. I won't be going too fast .

Dh has just phoned - bloody hossy's - they think he has had Kidney stones but they're not sure, his prostate is in a bad way but its not malignant, the pain SHOULD start to ease up now as they THINK the stones have been passed, he has to go back in for an emergency ultra sound scan and a camera in his bladder thingy - they're not really sure whats wrong other than his prostate being in a bad way - all this bloody time waiting and they're not sure anyway he's being discharged now with plenty of very strong pain killers so I'm going soon to pick him up and then put him to bed hehe

I'm sooooooooo glad he's coming home but very very annoyed that they still don't really know whats wrong and given the snow we've got I'm sure there are cancellations for scans and he could be having one today

    Ok rant over

Thank you so so so much for all your support - you are all very lovely people

  • Mumof2 Dificult time of year, eh. Hope the sun shines on you at least a little today.

Julie For some reason your DH's plight has got into my head and I was actively hoping for some good news. Shame you can't lean on your Mum but at least she can babysit like you say. Fingers and stuff crossed that there's relief on the horizon. I would cross my legs too, but they would get stuck.

Greenbee Happy Birthday! I forgot to say earlier.

Cat is most displeased that there appears to be snow outside the front door as well as the back door and is sure it's all my fault. She's sitting in an empty Lush bag sulking.

Aquarium fish don't seem to be bothered but they never seem to make much of a fuss.

I did a verty elegant slide in the car past the turning into my road on the way back from Sainsburys. ETA: Didn't buy milk! Honest! Interesting to find they don't grit this part of the village, but local shop is only half a mile away and I could walk - well stagger - that far given a day or two if necessary.

Half an hour of knitting as a treat that I shall soar off to attend to living room. Honest. Well, maybe a cuppa first.
I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to break :D

    Holly that sounds painful

Mumof2 hugs - I'm feeling a bit down, no reason other than I'd like a bit of space and p&q.

Mudders - you're a star looking after all of those kids I really hope the parents appreciate how good you're being. I've stopped offering things like that cause people here don't appreciate it.

Helen - keeping everything crossed for your DH, maybe the doc can't see anything that is causing the problem so needs to take another look.

    Snow
    - we've had an other inch in the last half hour but it is easing off a bit now
