Phone the council, or your councillor. I got in touch with mine last year and now have a senior officer's phone number so he sorts out any problems I have! ;)

Yes, just down the road from Victoria station

It will make no difference, they contractors simply don't go out here in snow, end of.

Tree is now and the branches wrapped and in the boot of the car for when the snow clears, trunk in the garden for future fire wood.

Fire on, just cooking kids lunch and I need to hoover up all the needles, I'm out of hoover bags though so will need to attempt to empty the one in there - nice.

Well, I'm home. The whole establishment was shut across both campuses about noon. We have had about an inch of snow here this morning and it's still continuing. Which is unusual for this town.

DS just phoned, his school has now closed so he's coming over in a bit and we'll take the dog out for a walk.

Thanks for passing the message on Sexy & if you do come over be very careful......still can't see my road! xx

The best is yet to come.. and this is the most fabulous, uplifting, Stacey Kent song, everyone in need of a boost should listen to it. (doubtless a cover, but her version is fab)

    Hi everyone

When will this flippin snow stop - had it for a day and I'm sick of it!!! Can't get anything done cos I'm so stressed and if the school shuts tomorrow which I think it will then boy am I gonna swear and its snowing hee still - maybe 6" so far.

DH has phoned - he hasn't seen a Doc because the Doc wants to take a more in depth look at the scan and then come and talk to him - what does that mean - bad news if our luck is anything to go by so I'm living by the saying "prepare for the worst and wish for the best" or something like that

Thank you for all your thoughts - it helps to off load a bit on here as my Mum is being a ummmmmmmmm can't think of a nasty enough word to cover it - showing no concern and even laughed at DD when she said she had cried over DH - may God strike me down if I ever end up as heartless as her.

Just been to the chip shop to get dinner cos I can't even think about cooking yet - I'm gonna try to get to the hospital in a couple of hours, leaving kiddies with Mum - she has no choice in the matter cos I pass her house to get to the hossy so I'll just leave them there and say its too dangerous to comtinue with them in the car - she won't refuse if I'm stood in front of her. Don't want to take the kiddies if the news is not good, DH says they are chucking pain killers at him whereas last night he was begging for them.

Sorry for off loading this but I have flown a bit in the bedroom - done the bed so when DH comes home he can lay in a nice clean bed

You wait................ he's probably got indigestion lol

helen jelly remember we are here if you need us. Better for the Doctor to look at the scans properly. He may have more work load due to the snow as well. Sorry to hear about how you much is handling the situation.

Greenbee- sorry forgot to mention it early. Happy Birthday- Hope you have a great day,.
