Hi there!
Can I join in please?
I want to lose 3 1/2 stone to get to 10 stone, have been doing WW but no weigh in for last 3 weeks due to holidays and snow, decided today that I cannot keep using that as an excuse to eat what ever I fancied so I got on my scales at home :eek::eek::eek::eek:
So now I need to focus!!! So I have been good so far today and intend to make the right choices for the rest of the day!!Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last0 -
Woo hoo managed to find you all at last! :j:beer:
How daft am I?:o:o
Anyway stayed the same this week, must be honest haven't really tried to exercise like I did before Christmas, maybe it could have something to do with the weather and just not feeling bothered at the minute? I really must get motivated

Well done to all those who lost this week :T

Just wondering does anyone here drink green smoothies? I've heard good things about them and think that they might be my best bet really. I could knock one up before going to work and it would get me through the morning. Plus the greens would up my fibre and veg intake for the day.
Also I've started looking at South Beach recipes, they seem so healthy and yet sound really really tasty! Hello,
This is my first post to MSE. I have been an avid reader, but never posted anything so please be nice to me!
I too, am desperate to lose some weight this year. I am one of these "start a diet and do well so celebrate by being 'naughty' and falling off the wagon" dieters!!! I turn 30 in two weeks, am joining the gym this week and determined that this time I will lose weight!
I am loving all the tips on here and would love to join in. Please add me to the spreadsheet - I will aim to lose an initial 2 stone. Here's hoping!0 -

Evening all!
Congrats to everyone that has lost this week :T:T I will be weighing in after work tomorrow so will post then - not feeling too confident tho as I've been sofa-slugging most of the weekend, involving junk food, wine and not very much movement..
Back on the wagon tomorrow...:o:oFeeFee

This week I've stayed the same, so 0lbs for me!
I've been indulging in hot pasta bakes for lunch at work because of the cold weather, and the odd choccie bar so next week will hopefully be more successful!0 -
Hi everyone and congratulations to everyone, and I mean everyone because the fact that you are even still bothering to check out the thread shows your determinations to stick at it.
I have lost 4lbs (4/28lb). I was shocked myself, as I was aiming for 1lb a week.
I have replaced all beverages for water, saving myself around 500 calories a day (I used to binge on fruit juices, which contain tons of sugar). I went out for a jog once this week and I walked to work twice. I went on the exercise bike for about 10 mins, but still something. I never used to drink water, maybe my body has been retaining water and explains the big weight loss.
I have not given up eating sweets, chocolate or crisp, these will be hard to kick, but I have cut down slightly (I say, thinking about stuffing my face right now).
I Plan to do the same this week, but walk to work more often.
Good luck everyone, keep at it.:naughtyHoping to be debt free for life!
