I just wanted to ask a quick question about scales. We have two sets here, regular ones with a dial that goes round and electronic ones. The electronic ones weigh in 5 lbs heavier than the other ones.

Does anyone else have this strangeness with their scales? I'm only using the electronic ones to freak myself out and get me motivated whilst secretly hoping the other ones are my true weight...daft, I know.

Does it even matter? Surely it's the overall amount lost that's important?

I have a similar problem with our scales, I have decided to just stick to the one set otherwise I could run upstairs and have lost 3 lbs according to the bathroom ones:rolleyes:

Just pick one set and stick with them I would say, dont get too hung up on the exact weight, you will know when you are at the shape you are happy with:D

I love the idea that my electronic scales might make me 5 pound heavier than I really am but sadly I think they are right:o. You could always try tracking a measurement too and then you'll know you're doing fine.

DH lost 7, DD and DS 3 each so they're really pleased too

It does give you a wee boost to keep going doesn't it:D? I usually get to week 3 and get bored or don't lose that week and give up so if I'm faltering at that point can someone kick me up the bum as I've paid WW for 3 months:o...
