Urgh the weightloss has completely gone by the wayside already this week! I'm taking these new antibiotics and I have to eat things with them. And I was advised to eat bready things because otherwise my stomach could bleed if I don't. So snacking every 4 hours on some stodge is really not helping the diet. Hope I can shift at least 1 pound this week with all the excercise!

    Hi,

Please can I join.?.....I desperately need to lose about 4 stones and about 20 years.!! but I will be happy to lose the weight.! I am now going to set up our Wii and use it everyday and also follow SW eating plan. I will not be going to classes, but for every pound in weight that I lose I will put £1 in money away in a jar and at the end of the year or when I have lost my 4 stones, whichever comes first I will put the money towards treating myself to a really nice outfit. I will post my weight loss every Thursday. Good luck everyone.

Welcome to the thread Elsie, could you please post any losses on the weekends as I dont have much time during the week to update the Spreadsheet and would hate to miss anyones progress.

After a not bad start to the diet on Monday, the last two days have been pretty rubbish. I cannot stop eating biscuits they are my downfall!! On a positive note i have managed 30 minutes exercise the last two days, and planning on doing some tonight as well. Exercise DVD or exercise bike? Decisions....

Pah - I am not having a very good start. After getting snowed in (DD's school closed) had to create make do lunch which was sausage sandwiches. Instead of putting brown sauce on mine ended putting pickle - doh!

And at supper time had some of DD's food (the bit she didn't like). Oh when ever I will remember that I do have labrador in the house for these occasions, I don't have to eat it myself if I am not hungry anymore after having had my own portion.

Goes off to sulk...(and drink some decaf tea for the rest of the evening)

I have done really badly so far and have done little in the way of exercise and had crisps and mince pies left over from Christmas.
The good thing is that I have eaten ALL the crisps now and with the weather bad there's little chance of getting more. If I can go cold turkey on them I am sure that my taste buds will calm down and I will stop craving them.

I also have a WW book etc going begging. I haven't used it and it doesn't suit my lifestyle - I have to cook for little children and can't face making two meals - I just try portion control If any one would like it they are welcome - not sure how to get it to you etc.

  • Hi
I have been doing well so far eating heathily and not after 7 pm. However... my 21 year old son who eats like a horse microwaved some chips he subsequently did not want, he offered my 11 year old daughter who refused and so I had them on top of my pasta meal. Serious confliction with money saving new me and weight loss as I could not bear him throwing it out.
