Brrrr its a cold one again today, another snow day for us in the North East.

Plan to make a big pan of chicken soup today.

Something to warm us up is needed:D
    Dance of the Day..............

I reckon that having a good old mad dance brightens your day, raises energy levels and burns off a few excess calories too. So every day I shall post a dance of the day.

Dont be shy now, get your hairbrush microphones out and go mad

HAPPY 75TH BIRTHDAY TO THE KING......

But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
  • Also not doing so brilliantly with having unexpected days off work, christmas food still lurking. Think i'll go and find the food focus website to see how many calories I should be having. So far today I have had 1 coffee with skimmed milk, 2 crumpets with a scraping of marmite (no butter) .It all seems to go down hill after lunch though. Right I'm off to find some motivation. Good luck everyone x

    Morning all!
Yesterday wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be - total cals were 1217 so near enough on target and 400 cals worth of snow shovelling - quite pleased with that.

Did anyone see the second part of The Big Fat Diet Show yesterday? At the end of the first week they'd lost an average of about 5-7 lbs each! On 1200 cals a day - none of them are ginormous, mostly between 10 and 12 stone so there's hope for me yet!

So day 2 of 14 today and I'm determined to stick to it again.

Today's food will be banana (100 cals) for breakfast, left over curry for lunch (nice and warm) (250 cals) and tea will be breaded haddock (255 cals according to the pack), marrowfat peas (170 cals).
That adds up to 775 cals so plenty left to have a few oven chips (will weigh them and have 200 cals worth), leaving about 200 cals worth for whatever else I fancy.

    That's the plan anyway!

Hope everyone else is on track and that we don't lose people due to being moved
