I'ld like to know how good the biggest loser for Wii is too.

According to the food focus website I have been under the 1200 calories all week but tonight I have the munchies. trying to be as good as possible I went for the breadsticks at 22 calories each but managed half a pack so probably had about 200 cals from them. Haven't updated foodfocus for today so will go do that in a bit and see how bad.

I am going to weigh on Sunday. Not quite a full week but I want to see hopefully, a loss on that spreadsheet.

ETA: Food focus says I have had 1207cals today so no more snacking!

Ok, I did have curry. But I only ate half as I was full (first for everything I guess) and I did have onion bhajis. But that means dinner was only just over 600 calories ( a full curry and rice was 800 - I ate just under half, so around 400 - and I indulged my love of onion bhajis - 200 cals - but no NAAN! YAY!)

Tomorrow it's a night out at the Chinese, but I will try and stick to satay chicken and maybe a little rice. No plawn clackers.

    Morning all :hello:,

I have decided to weigh myself on a Saturday morning and I've lost 1 pound :j which to be honest I'm thrilled about 'cos I've only been dieting 4 days. I've averaged about 1400 to 1500 calarories per day. I've been AF (alcohol free for a week)

This tells me I'm heading in the right direction:D Hopefully this is the first of many
    (36 )

    Good Luck

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.
  • Hi everyone

Just weighed myself and have managaed to lose 3lbs this week. I'm a bit pleased as this is the weight I've gained during my quit smoking attempt so now it's gone...fantastic! Only 18lbs to go to reach my target. (Sounds so easy written down...nightmare in real life.)

I've been eating 1200 cals a day and this seems to be working so I'm going to keep doing that for now. I cheated a few times this week with the odd christmas choc :o but nothing major.

I also plan to get more active this week. I'm still snowed in and lazing around every day watching dvd box sets of medium, wire in the blood, the street, anything I can get my hands on. But it wouldn't hurt me to start trying to clear the track, hike to the local shop in the snow, do outside things that will get me moving and burn calories.

Best of luck everyone with your weigh ins this weekend.

Well done on the losses Shaggydoo and Luckycharm:T

I have updated the Spreadsheet on post 1 with the new joiners and the weigh ins to date.

    Just a reminder...........
    • Please post your weekly losses/gains over the weekends, there is a 2 day window to state your progress for the week.
    • Please post any losses/gains IN RED and preferrably IN BOLD so that I can see them more easily without having to read every post in detail, I would hate to miss anyone out:o
    • Dont forget the dance of the day in post 1 to keep you moving and lift your mood (it also works for distraction when you fancy snacking):D
Really looking forward to updating the tracker with all those fab losses:T

OH and I have just weighed in and I have lost 1lb and OH 2lbs.......pleased with that:D
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

    4lb loss for me please!!

Very pleased with that - I know I usually lose a lot in the first week so won't be expecting as much next week. Good start though!
