How many calories in a teaspoon of honey?
Breakfast today was tesco own brand ready brek. Packet said 30g but that hardly covered the bottom of the bowl so poured out what I would normally have and added a tablespoon of oatbran. This weighed at 50g. Packet has 180 calories counted for 30g with semi-skimmed milk but i used skimmed then added 1tsp honey. So I am going to say 250 cals unless anyone can show me how to work it out differently.
I would normally add about 4 tsps of sweetener but I read a report somewhere that artificial sweeteners can slow down weight loss so I use honey instead now and find I can get away with soooooo much less. Adding the oatbran adds a nuttier flavour too and a bit of a bite if you are not keen on mush:rotfl:.
Lunch will be soup, I have some frozen which when I was doing SS would count as no points so not sure how many calories but all veg anyway.
Tea - don't know yet - whatever DH buys on his way home at lunchtime probably. As long as it isn't pasta - have gone off pasta.
Off to spend a half hour on the wii fit before showering and getting ready for work.

Thanks for that link SS. According to that site I could lose 6 st by August on 1056 calories per day:eek:. Think that would be going some but I'll certainly look at some more on there. The person who moves a mountain begins by carrying small stones.

Just looked at that foodfocus website some more and according to it the last two days I have eaten less than 1000 calories each. Will need to be careful I don't go too low or the metabolism will slow down and I still won't lose anything. The person who moves a mountain begins by carrying small stones.
