    I blame the cold.Fact.

I iz bad too then! I was doing ok today as didn't have to go to work due to snow and went out sledging and had a snowball fight for about an hour, so that burned a few calories off. However have succumbed to chocolate and biscuits as still some left over from christmas. Did get three other people to help me eat it, so that is a bit less hanging round the house now.

I use the 'Daily Plate' to roughly track my calories and I was on track until I started on the choc. :o

Wow, 3 days with no broadband and we are on page 17 already!

DH has decided to join me in the weightloss quest which is great as we'll be able to keep each other motivated although he works nights which is when I have my snacking episodes. Hopefully i have found something to satisfy my evening munchies.

So we are not following any particular diet, just being more aware of what we are eating/drinking. Where there is calories available I've written them down but homemade stuff is just portion control.

Yesterday was a long lie as still off so started with an actimel drink 0.1% fat. Lunch was soup 200 cal portion with 2 krisprolls 48 cal each. Tea was roast chicken white meat only with broccolli, carrots and potatoes. Snacks were a banana and two meringues at 50 cal each.

Today started with toast with Rhubarb and ginger jam, no marge or butter. Lunch was a tuna sandwich on oatbread, again no butter, tea was pork chop, carrots, cauliflower, potatoes and two tablespoons cheese sauce - probably the fattiest thing I've had for the last couple of days. Snacks have been 3 krisprolls with a small jar of tuna mayo past, approx 150 cals.

Have been doing a bit more exercise on the wii fit and parked outside the carpark at work so had to walk uphill to get back to the car - probably the same distance from the carpark but at a very steep gradient.

  • Ok just noticed I am not on the Tracker. This may be because although I said I needed to lose more than 5 stone and plan on doing it 1lb a week I didn't give an actual target so shall we say 26lbs at first to take me to my holiday in July.

  • Hi everyone, how are we all doing?

Well it's freezing cold here in far south-west cornwall and all last night we had snow...IT NEVER SNOWS HERE! Though I know it causes so many problems and has pretty much brought much of the UK to a halt I still get a little excited when there's white stuff on the ground...it's such a novelty down here, it never snows!! Whether I can get to work later or not is another matter!

So yesterday was afully bad food-wise, couldn't really have been much worse (see a pattern emerging?) I have absolutely no motivation at the moment, plus having a cold doesn't help, just makes me want to eat eat eat...naughty things too!

    So here goes for today...

Breakfast - Fruit (I usually do alright here!)

Lunch - Ryvita with John West dressed crab or lobster (ok....fine here!)

Dinner - Undecided but will probably involve something cheap and vegetably! (this is where it all goes wrong - coming home from work at half 8 I just find it hard to be bothered to actually make anything from scratch)

So we'll see how it goes. 84 people on the spreadsheet, that's great. Love catching up with this thread, lots of useful tips!

    Cheers!

Well the snow stopped my plans for running yesterday

    However...

On Monday I started my 100 push up program (little iphone app that trains you up to be able to do a 100 push ups non stop), and ..

Yesterday I started my 200 sit up program (iphone app again)

Not gonna embarrass myself by telling you what my first day totals were :D

Eating proper cooked food both at home and work as well, no pre-packaged crap full of sugars/salts/cals

(Have convinced myself that the lamb stir fry I made yesterday is good for me as it has loads of veg (asparagus, manage tout , sweetcorn, carrots, green pepper and mushrooms), I'll just gloss over the pound of lamb I put in it :rotfl:

  • Morning,

Day off work today so this is usually my downfall...getting bored during the day!
For my breakfast ive had weetabix with seeds again...i heard they're good for you so i think ive become a bit obsessed.
And im now drinking a big bottle of water.

not sure what im doing for lunch and dinner yet, ive got a ready meal in the fridge that needs eating but its 600 cals, eek!

did any body catch the big fat diet show last night? one of the women lost (i think) 6lbs in 4 days, wow!! They reduced their calories to 1200 a day, so if i can get the hang of calorie counting i might give that a good for a good kickstart.
