Hi Folks - I hope you don't mind me joining in as I need the kind of motivation from peeps like you all. Have been watching The Big Loser and that has really motivated me and I keep talking to myself like Angie and Richard and have to say that it is working. A very dear friend (who I used to do WW with) went off on a longhaul holiday and so as she was away for nearly 5 weeks I have used this also to spur me on and so my diary is thus :
Wk 1 - 3 lbs
Wk 2 - 3 lbs
Wk 3 + 2 lbs
Wk 4 - 3 lbs
Would like to lose another 10lbs - a stone. I think it is more difficult when the weight loss isn't great (don't mean to offend anyone). Would like to enrol on The Biggest Loser website, but am trying to be penny conscious and see if I can do it without. Would be interested to know of the opinion of anyone who has tried the Richard Callender DVD. Am using the gym a minimum of three times a week and have a pedometer step machine that I use daily. Just need to keep up the momentum and of course if I keep losing that helps. Keep at it other peeps. Billie xx:j I belong to Mike's Mob :j0 -

Hi Billie - well done on your weight loss so far. I've just bought the Biggest Loser book and workout DVD, so I will let you know what I think after I've had a chance over the weekend to read and partake in the exercise!
I am really struggling with losing the final half a stone, so need a kick start back into exercise. Have just been doing bits here and there, really need to get back into a routine.0 -

I haven't weighed in this week as I already know it will be a gain and I'm currently in full scales avoidance mode. I'm going to eat well and exercise a minimum of three times this week and weigh next weekend.
My lovely sister has lent me her Wii Fit Plus game, so will be having a go on that tomorrow after work. Haven't had chance to read the 'Biggest Loser' book or do the exercise DVD over the weekend, but as soon as I do, I'll report back! Will definitely be this week!0 -

Hi is there room for another on this Thread?
I'd really like to lose 23lbs, I'm 49 and it really is harder to shift at this age honestly
I'm 5'10" so carry the excess ok when I'm clothed but without clothes  and my passion is diving so I need to lose a few pounds before its warm enough to spend my weekends dressed in a wetsuit
Do I weigh in on a randomly picked day each week and just report any changes?LBM- finally kicked in 16/12/08 @ [strike]£41,862 [/strike] £0.00/ DFD- 24/12/13
