  • A busy week at the CBM house, with 2 pilates classes, 2 body balance classes, and a swim. I also found time to eat half a bar of chocolate last weekend, and then to go on to eat half a fruit cake, an entire packet of chocolate biscuits, and a slice of cake at work.

Net result - as probably deserved - nil loss.

Need to do lots more :j but we are spending this week decorating hall stairs and landing.

    Congrats to the losers though

  • I can't believe only just discovered this thread! I ballooned from 9stone up to 11 stone 3 - now I look back, I can see exactly how it happened - I got dumped very unceremoniously and a friend died all in the space of a month... I then started a new job and was worried as to whether it was going to be permanent (Which it was thankfully!) In the meantime, I was eating eating eating - the bigger I got, the more I comfort ate to make myself feel better. Since Sept have got down to 9 stone 10 and have got my mojo back! Funnily enough, my money is better too now I am eating better. Going to try and shed those last 10 lbs before April to get into a bikini in Portugal hehe!

I have lost 1lb this week. Which is good, however I fully expect it to put it back on due to the pizza I had on Saturday, plus the copious amounts of Thorntons I've consumed over the weekend.

Healthy eating resumed today, mainly due to the fact there are only orange and coffee flavour chocs left! :o

I've ordered the 'Biggest Loser' book and DVD to atone for my sins... will let you know if they're any good!

I forgot to check in this weekend, oopsie!

Anyway I have lost 1lb again, taking me down to 10 stone exactly - I really hope I manage to lose again next week as I seem to keep going up & down but never past the 10 stone mark! I am going swimming tomorrow which will hopefully assist with this!

Good luck everyone, keep on going! x

  • Greetings all!

A small loss of 0.75lbs this week. I am happy that I have at least headed slowly in the right direction for the past two weeks after the previous two weeks of gain, but I just wish I could rev it up to the 2lbs/w I need to reach my new goal by the end of April (goal recently changed to fit holiday plans). :wall:

I'm exercising at least 3 times per week with either the Shred or Rosemary Conley's aerobics/salsa, so perhaps I need to increase my sessions? It's not my eating as I've been keeping a rigid food diary and my intake's been pretty good. *sigh*

Oh well...we keep on keeping on, right?

Well done to all the losers out there.

  • Oh and here's a quick run down of my progress so far, as I think my wobbly weigh-ins and new goal might've mucked up the spreadsheet:

    Goal: 30.75lbs by 31/5/11

    Week 1: -6.25
    Week 2: +2
    Week 3: -2.75
    Week 4: +2.25
    Week 5: +1.25
    Week 6: -1
    Week 7: -0.75

Total loss thus far = -5.25
