I have a food diary with calories in a spreadsheet (excel) which I have been doing for about 18 months. It does help me to not put on weight if I "confess" everyday and I can see if my calorie count gets to high (no burying my head in the sand). It helped me lose 10 pounds last year and is keeping me STS at the moment.
It also tells me that I can do better.

0 weightloss for me this week. Started off really well but have had some key events to go to! At least I didn't gain. More exercise this next week so fingers crossed it will be more productive next week. I'm, having a very slow start but no one to blame but myself!!

BB that is amazing progress with your walks, it really is surprising how quickly you can build up your stamina and will help the weight drop off.
I think I need to go back on some kind of plan as my progress has been dismal this time around. Think I will dig out my Slimming W0rld books.But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -

& I did soooo much walking yesterday! I blame myself for buying chocolate, I had such a craving & it was on offer in Tesco...so I bought more then just the one pack... Stupid stupid stupid!!!

Don't feel I've been particularly good this weekend and felt all fat and blobby however have just started gettin stomach cramps, so
