  • Another gain of 1.25lbs this week. :(

Feeling a little disheartened as that's two weeks of gain now, meaning that I'm almost back where I started :( I know that we've had my DH's birthday including all the celebratory alcohol and chocolate cake, but that's just excuses really. I did the Shred again last night and will be trying to do it every day I can now and not allowing myself so many...ahem...treats. :(

I don't actually think I've gained as much as the scales say, as we had cake and spuds last night - never a good thing before weigh-in day - so I'll see what the next few days hold.

Just kinda feel like I'm banging my head against a brick wall lately.

    Le sigh.

  • Dear All!

Please can I join - I know I am a bit late but need the motivation.

I weighed in at a stonking 11st9lb after Christmas, I have managed to loose 7lb since then, but I want 2011 to be the year I finally reach a healthy weight - even if it takes all year! I want to get to 9st 7lb, so another 1st 9lb has to come off, at the minute I am recording it n a chart I have stuck on my kitchen door but having to admit my failures and successes in public will be just the motivation I need to stick with it!

    Good luck everyone!

  • Hi all

A -2 loss for me :j this week, also I lost 1 lb last week that seems to have fallen off the table!

OH, bless him, bought me a big bar of chocolate yesterday as I had a stinky day at work. Its under the sofa so I hope he has a need for chocolate before I do.... I think I'll be ok until it is opened, unless I have a bit of an emotional time. It sounds so ungrateful, but I wish he hadn't bought it and perhaps we should have had the conversation 'I'm choosing not to eat chocolate right now' before he bought me some, rather than him wondering what's going on. I am very concerned that I won't be able to stop if I start, so don't really want to risk it, even for him. (so now I'm guilty about not eating chocolate - not sure whether to laugh or cry...)

    Have a good week all.

Think I need to start writing down what I eat - same as a spending diary. I'm having a small breakfast/lunch/dinner ( I can't eat huge portions anymore which is good) but I'm picking a bit so I want to knock that on the head.

Walked 6 miles today :D I walked 4 and then had a 10 minute sit on a wall to watch the water and then did 2 more. Stamina wise I felt fine and could have done more but hamstrings were tightening in the last mile. I feel fine now though. Looking to do a 3.5 mile walk tomorrow. That's an increase on last weekend, I did 4 on Saturday (in a howling gale) and 3.5 on Sunday.
