3lb off for me this week. Pleased with that. I think sometimes important things can seem a bit scary to achieve and there's sometimes the fight or flight mindset that takes over. Every other time I've lost weight and stuff has come along I've gone to flight and put it back on. I then later regret where I could have been, wish I'd somehow stuck with it knowing I was strong enough to continue because it is what I really wanted even though it wasn't going to be easy and have to somehow start again, usually in a worse position than the last time I tried. This time I'm determined to fight - even if it isn't easy, I know what I want.

I'm annoyed to say I have gained 1lb this week
I think after last week's success I got a bit too complacent, as if I didn't need to try so hard...& there's been much stress this week...& my uh, monthly visitor is coming tomorrow...but I shouldn't make excuses really, at least measurements have remained the same, I will have to try very hard this week to make up for it!
Congrats to everyone who has lost, or at least STS.:idea:Debt at July 2012: £12,862.57

No probs Callisto. Dont know which bit of Worcs you are in but if you want an invigorating walk , park on the Ledbury Road A449 ( by the Malvern Hills Hotel) and walk up to the British Camp at the Southern end of the Malverns. Its only a couple of miles but you know you've done it....just dont go into the little shop by the Hotel and fill up on hot chocolate and cake afterwards.
A walk from the car park to North hill and back is a good days walk, and I'll allow you to go to the Tea Shop at St Annes Well if you're good...grrrreat cake!
Thanks for the suggestion Pepe. I'm about 20 miles away from Malvern, but it is a nice day out and I could take a healthy picnic to keep me out of the cake shops!
STS for me this week again. Lost focus slightly and stressed about starting a new job tomorrow. New week, new start is now my motto0 -

Hello Everyone, I am struggling with lots of things at the moment and have been signed off sick for a couple of weeks giving me 3 weeks off in total, the longest I have ever been off sick from work:o
I am starting to pull myself together both physically and emotionally and am ready to start to get to grips with looking after myself a little more.
This week I have eaten really healthily and have taken long walks with OH to clear away the black clouds.
I am shifting my focus from weight loss to making myself feel better, this seems to be working at the moment so I am sticking with it:)
Hopefully a loss this week for me. The tracker has now been updated too.But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
