    Well gang.
I have not had a great eating week.
I have deceided(reluctantly) I need to go back to a class.
For those of you who know me my walking is becoming even worse & my knees are giving my gyp.
For the sake of mobility I cannot go on like this.
So much as I dont want to go back to a class I need to.
    I am totally demoralised.

first, hugs mate. Its !!!! really, this weight loss lark. too hard.

I am feeling very similar. so tired all the time and I eat to stay awake. drink coke, eat chocolate, my routine is such that I am constantly eating on the run I have no time to go to the shops. I always have a bag of marking with me and cannot shop either have no time or its too much to carry, I could get a cab home one night but by the time I get back put away make lunch(es) it will be nine o clock and then I have to work. As for exercise the only reason why I managed to do the walking (and lose maybe six pounds? by accident) was because I had fewer groups and less marking so I had one free night. At the moment between driving tutoring and work there arent any.

I could go on a Saturday to the shops heaving and busy tho it is - its what everyone else does right??:o

I just hate the thought of my local supermarket on a saturday!

    Today I had

    muesli
    milk
    Carmel (tunnocks)
    crisps
    blue riband
    chicken sandwich
    capri sun
    grapes
    swiss roll
    crisps
    moussaka
    2 roses sweets.

I came home at 6.30 so hungry, had dinner, fell asleep woke up at nine  haven't marked or prepped (although I did some at work)

right now I could happily eat chocolate whilst marking. Infact I could probably eat chocolate in my sleep if I tried.

This week is a shocker with a long meeting, Parents eve, birthday meal out Fri. its going to be snack after snack then late dinner, work late and repeat.

I have no idea how to organise or plan for any of it.

So Beanie, I too am demoralised and just exhausted actually.
Sorry folks not hugely cheerful here.

  • Thank you Pernicious for your advice and motivation. You are so right with pointing out that we have 2 weeks to hit and smash our targets. So if I go to the gym loads in the next 2 weeks and eat 'good foods' and the odd Fred*o(17p) then I should meet the challenge.

Soaking the chick peas to be grown for Friday and Saturday.

Forgot to take my home made soup to work and couldn't find the nice reduced bread (49p) with seeds from Wa%tr*se today. On a good note I found a Vietamanese Prawn Rolls with rice noodle for £2.49 (intro price) and they were very healthy and fairly tasty. I suppose that is too much especially as I'm on a budget, however, you could quite easily spend £5 to £7 on lunch.
Pernicious there is only me to feed on £14.07. I don't think I have any friends coming over for tea in the next 2 weeks so I think I can do it if I empty my purse. Tomorrow will have to be a NSD. Wednesday I'll get some veggies and eggs and there'll probably last over a week. As a last resort I could use Tesco vouchers.
    Thanks again for your advice.

Bit of an eventful recent past, to say the least!
Split from Mrs P last Monday and temporarily moved in with Parents, who seem determined to feed me....luckily they live in countryside so plenty of walks on boggy fields to keep the blubber away.
-4 lb over the last two weeks, which is double my meagre target for the month of Jan......so I still have time to put it back on!

Also down another notch on the belt which I bought at Xmas as the other one was way too big, so the excercise is plainly the key to losing size!! 15 mile walk on Sunday felt like nothing as I'm now used to close to 20 for a 'long' one.

Keep it up you losers! X

As in all things in life, ask yourself who you are making changes for....if its for you and you are not acheiving those changes, then give yourself a stiff talking to!...dont let yourself down.

edit; thats me down to 234lb now which is a stone off since starting.

Lots of love from me Pepsi. Sorry you have had such a turbulent time of late but I just know that happiness is waiting around the corner for you
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

    Ta you lot.

No-one is far from a National Trail, even the centre of London has the Thames Path. There are tow-paths etc all over the Country. All of these offer easy to follow long walks as long as you dont mind backtracking over a linear route.....unless you get a Bus or Train back to your start point that is.
....or sort a 3 mile circular route and go round it more than once.

As long as you dont take a flask full of sugary coffee and a supply of mars Bars then it will have a positive effect on your wobbly bits.

Cider is a weakness of mine too :o Especially funky fruit flavoured ones like Kopparberg...oops.

I am trying to do the same thing as you though so hopefully it'll pay off, but I need a tad more willpower to put down the bottle & pick up the trainers :rotfl:

We're just making 40 pints of homemade cider too!!!! Gahhh! :rotfl:

sts for me too! Anyone watch Biggest loser- its the dreaded week 2 curse!

I'm loving it! But I was quite glad to hear that the 'two week curse' is a common thing as I had that theory myself but wasn't sure if I was fooling myself :o

Pretty sure I've done a lot worse this week than last, but I kind of expected it. I'm guessing I've probably put on about 3 or 4 of the lbs I lost last week :( However, my weigh-in day/time is tomorrow morning so I may dash home and dig out my Shred DVD tonight to do a Last Chance Workout :D

Congrats to all this week's losers!! :)
