A major achievement for me! :D
What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

Seem to be hovering around 238 to 240 lbs which is still 8 to 10 lbs off since starting.
Been v difficult over last few weeks due to working through the night outside in cold weather........loads of tea, toast etc to keep us going.

However, I have been keeping the excercise up with a couple of miles fast walking nearly every afternoon and a 20 mile walk last Sunday.

Losing size, but not weight....so spose its OK.

...and well done to Eskimo Nell on getting back from the snowbound North, must have been a difficult trip. I think if I'd got snowbound with my Parents I'd have put on about 3 stone!

weigh in tomorrow. Looking good for a loss of most of the gain, if not all of it this week.

Need a bit of 'having it off' to speed up the loss even more :D

  • Have lost 6 of the 8 pounds I gained over the last 2 weeks so am back to a 6 stone 2 loss.

I want the other 2 pounds off this week and also at least 1 more so I can really feel I am moving forwards again. This current half stone has been such a sticking point but I have to remember that over the years I would have completely given up by now and it would be piling back on. But I haven't given up and I am still looking forward.

Am desparately trying to move other parts of my life forward and am so close it is within touching distance but am wishing that for once I could toughen up a bit and do it because on the other side is something wonderful.....I know it....

Well done BB. That really is amazing when you think what could have happened, so that proves you are a much stronger person than perhaps you have been in the past. Good luck with what you are trying to do. I know exactly what you mean though, my ex bf phoned me up this week and there was so much I wanted to say to him, and should have said, but I just can't seem to say them. I mostly wanted to say 'you are scum, leave me alone' but instead I heard myself saying, 'well, have a lovely Christmas' arrrghhhhh

I have been s-o-o-o bad. Meals out, box of chocolates, mince pies at work.... :o And then the exercise - or lack of - with the weather keeping us inside.

Under the circumstances I think its a miracle that I have only put on 1lb.

What are we doing for the next challenge? Louise - hope you're ok...

    Cheers all

Spent most of the day shovelling snow, got over a foot here.....lovely!

Hopefully tomorrow will be sunny so I can get out on my usual 5 mile route through the woods and hiils and it'll feel like 20:D

MUST get new battery for scales. Still feel like I'm losing size.

Keep up the good work and get shovelling the snow.....its great excercise.

It's official I've achieved a 1lb loss this week making my total loss 4 stone exactly since 1st Jan 2010!
    Oh yeah baby!:D:D:D:D

I've decided my new years focus will be to shift another 7lbs to a stone & then focus on toning those wobbly bits!!

I really hope this thread is gonna be around next year, are we gonna set up a new challenge/ target lou?
