What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

Bit of an update as I've been MIA for a couple of weeks.

Well, most of last week was spent stuck up north. Went to funeral and all the trains were cancelled! For the rest of the week! Eventually got back to Dorset Saturday evening rather than Wednesday afternoon and even that involved a £50 taxi to the first open train station.

The interesting thing was that I seemed to go straight back into teenager eating habits mode. There was lots of lovely homemade cakes etc and everything seemed to be so carb heavy! Loads of bread, potato etc. I ate........and ate.......mostly through boredom and frustration at not being able to get home (I ended up having to take 2 days unpaid leave) and partly because it was just 'there'.

The upshot of a few weeks of upheaval; my ex moving with my lovely Charlie dog and saying goodbye to the house, losing my grandad and supporting my Mum, being stuck in the snow and a house full of food that just said 'eat me' all day  meant that I fell off the wagon and I have gained 8 pounds in the last 2 weeks

However I am now pretty much back in control (yep, stomach rumbling, back on CD and not yet in ketosis!) so am hoping to have the 8 pounds off pretty much in the next week or 2. All that stuff is now behind me and I'm hopeful to not have anything else chucked at me for quite a while!

I did have in amongst that lot an AMAZING night out and the memory of that has kept me going when everything else around me has been falling apart. I want more nights like that please, soon :D
