Bom dia xx
Sat on the balcony having a few last minutes of quiet thought before getting picked up at 11 to start the journey home.
Been gradually deteriorating food wise as the holiday progressed with a couple of bad hours if pain a few evenings ago . Got some strong stuff from chemist but am ok now.
Scales will groan at me in the morning but it really doesn't matter, its just about me getting right back on cd and blocking food back out again. Mixed thoughts about that, looking forward to the feeling of it being a kind of comfort blanket again but know the first few days will be horrible. However I am totally focused and 100 total loss by Christmas is achievable.
See you back home, missed you xx"Stay Wonky":D

Hi everyone, I've been lurking and reading this thread for a couple of weeks and would like to join you all if there's room!
I piled on about 2 stone since quitting smoking 2 years ago and I really want to get it shifted. Since getting back off hols over a month ago I have done literally no exercise aside from once a week yoga class, since getting back so I think I need some virtual bum kicking.
I'm not following a diet plan as such although maybe I should be if I want to keep any weight off. I'm just trying to cut out the rubbish and go from there.
I'm not even thinking about weighing in until tomorrow as I'm another one that indulged in a chinese last night
If I only lose 1/2 lb next week I'll count myself lucky, as long as scales register less than they do now I will be happy.

Well finally got back a couple of hours later than planned.
Woke this morning with a mixture of trepidation at the amount of the gain and the thought of the renewed journey ahead but reminded myself that I knew a gain was going to happen and that I am choosing to go back on CD so not to see it as a 'prison'.
So.....I put on 7 pounds in 2 weeks. I'm not too  at that to be honest. In fact I thought it would be more because of the extreme change in what I had gone from food wise and I think I might get that off this week but I won't pressurise myself to do that.
So......I'm at 74 pounds off in total (5 stone 4) and with this being the last weigh in of the challenge I lost 23 pounds over the last 10 weeks.
Are you starting a new one today lovely Lou?
I'd like to put myself down for a 26 pound loss over the next 10 weeks to take me to 100 pounds off in total."Stay Wonky":D

I can put on weight at this rate I've discovered and I am very  at that. Every lb I lose seems to take forever but putting it on seems to happen so quickly :eek:What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -
BB I think most of us would come back from holiday with a 7lb weight gain, so I think you have done incredibly well!
That weight will be shifted again in no time, and I have no doubt that you will reach your 100 by Christmas :T:T:TSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Hey BB, welcome back from your holiday.
This was the first thread I came to read this morning to see how you had got on. Seems funny to say that seven pounds is a good result, but as others have said that is so easily done on a holiday anyway, without having been on CD, and especially as I seem to remember that you were aware that it could be at least 10 pounds.
Well done (and the photos really show the loss)
