    Morning all!
    It's freeeeezing here!

Marru - the Moroccan Butterbean thing for you....
(It's adapted from the SW web site so not my own invention)

    2 large tins of butterbeans
    Fry Light
    1 large onion
    1 clove garlic
    500ml passata
    1 tin chopped tomatoes
3 tsp curry powder (or to taste)
    1 tsp dry chilli flakes
    1 tsp mustard powder

Sweat the onion and garlic, add the drained beans and passata, tomatoes and spices. Simmer on the hob for about an hour.
If you like you can add a swirl of natural yoghurt to serve.
Eat with couscous or rice - I use Ainsley Harriot morrocan couscous (free on green day)

The whole thing will give you about 3 large portions.

    Today's food for me .....
    • cornflakes for breakfast (milk to dog)
    • beans on toast for lunch (just one piece of bread) and satsuma
    • morrocan butterbeans and couscous
Will walk dog for exercise and maybe 30mins of an exercise DVD.

    Good luck to everyone else.
  • Morning everyone!

It's back to work for me today, have been off with some holiday and a week of sickness, now finally recovered. So new year, new start, back to work, going to really watch what I eat, no more sandwiches from work or Tesco, just home-made healthy food. Had my weigh in this morning. Not the best, but could be a lot worse - in some ways it's a good thing I've been ill the past week as I've had little/no appetite.

Food today - some fruit in a bowl for breakfast, some leftover fish pie for lunch (probably not the healthiest but balanced, and i'll only have a little portion), and dinner will be whatever my girlfriend decides to cook for me for when I come home from work!

Hope everyone is ok, and thanks to you Louise for starting this thread, really useful (I hope!!)!:D

Can you add me in as well please Lou?

I'm gonna go for 17 lb by the end of April. I'm on holiday mid Jan for 2 weeks which might be a problem but will hopefully stay the same.

    Good luck to everyone else
You need to be content with small steps. That’s all life is. Small steps that you take every day so when you look back down the road it all adds up and you know you covered some distance.
