    Hi Lou,
Please confirm if I have been added, I know you might be getting fed up. Sorry in advance.
    Thanks
    Ebony

Yes you have been added Ebony, have also added Tigz and Incesticide.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

Ok, am just updating my food diary....Dinner was about half of what I had for lunch, also without the puddingy bits and with a small tub of custard and a small thingy of pineapple.

Also, does anyone know the best kind of trainers to wear to the gym? Gonna be on the rowing thingy, the cycle thingy and maybe the runny or the cross trainer thingy.

    Hi all:j

Can I join too please?? Just had yet more chocolates, blech I am really sick of them now LOL. I'm starting tomorrow, doing a version of SW as I have loads of the books & really don't want to spend the money going to classes, although I may buy the magazines now & again.

I'm going to weigh in tomorrow morning, then post total weekly. As far as I remember, I rarely lose more than 1lb p/w, would like to lose a stone for starters.

Back tomoz with starting weight, good luck everyone:T:T:T

I'd like to join too please, my target is to lose one stone by the end of April, which would make me the lightest I've been for *mumble* years. :D I'm not following any particular diet, just having less sweet treats and exercising 4 times a week for at least 40 minutes. I will probably only weigh/measure myself once a month as I'm trying to convert the fat into muscle and don't want to get disheartened by seeing a gain on the scales...

To all those wanting to start out with running - I used the 'Running Made Easy' book by Susie Whalley and Lisa Jackson, was about £6. I know you can get free plans off t'internet, but it was £6 very well spent as it motivated me to believe that I could do it - it starts with jogging for 60 seconds and walking for 3 minutes and builds it up each week for a total of 12 weeks. The first time I waited until there was no-one in the local park, and ran round there as I didn't want to have to run past people or cars as I was so self conscious. :o

I can now jog for 5 minutes consistently (longest jog so far 8 minutes before having to take a walk break!) Yesterday I did 40 minutes jogging and about 10 minutes walking in total. I am planning to enter a 5 kilometre race in the spring and keep building up the amount of time I can jog for.

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.
