OK.....just weighed in....*deep breath*
I have LOST 4lb! :j
I've also lost 1inch off both my hips and waist - making it 38 and 34 respectively:j
Well done elfen, that is brilliant news and well deserved.
Lou you are allowed to celebrate DH achievement of goal weight, we are hauling you back on the wagon on Monday though :rotfl:.I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.0 -
I am back on the wagon today Scrooge:A
Weighed in and dissapointed that I have STS as I know that I had lost some during the week but the Tapas and last nights slip up have cancelled it out:mad:
Anyway........................................................................
(that is me drawing a line under it)
Being picked up by my Mum in a bit as she is taking part in the Race For Life this morning, weather is drizzly rain and a bit chilly. I am sure it wont dampen the spirits of the runners/walkers though.
Hope everyone else has a good day and I look forward to seeing everyone elses loses coming in:)
Dance of the day........ classic......http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DCgM4YF72SIBut these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
STS is good, especially as you've had losses the last couple of weeks and let your hair down a bit last night :j.I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.0

Right girls, I''m very sorry to say I'm going to step away from this 10 week challenge.
We're around half way through, and I've got precisely nowhere. I'm feeling fatter if anything, my stomach seems huge. If I didnt know better.......
I'll still be here trying, and posting (if that's OK) but may as well come off the spreadsheet for this time. I'll be back on the next one though, so dont let me miss it Lou
We've having a bit of a frugal challenge here at Spud Towers too, lots of bills and school holidays coming up so trying to spend as little as possible on food to make it that we might have a little left for trips out. If anyone has any ideas for really cheap (but healthy if possible) meals, I'd love to hear em.
BB, I'm so so proud of you hun. I didnt realise you were keeping it quiet, r'else I wouldnt have kept asking, sorryI really wish I could do it again, but there really doesnt seem to be any room in the finances at all unfortunately.
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

thankyou for the lovely comments, I was a bit scared of admitting what I was doing
in case I failed before I'd really even got goin. I started off not thinking past 1 hour, then 1 half day, then 1 day and I'm now starting to think 1 week at a time. I am sure something will happen to knock me sideways at some point so I am just enjoying the success at the moment and will try to deal with whatever I get hit with that could scupper my diet.
Elfen - well done on 4 pounds - that is :j:j:j:j
Claire - weigh in will be the same time next week. I don't know how much you want to lose but you should have some great results.
I've lost 5 pounds this week. Very pleased with that as the scales seem to have got stuck but they did that last week as well and then dropped for Sunday morning. Total of 30 pounds in 4 weeks, that was my second target in the challenge....how many more weeks do we have left, is it 5?? Can I up my goal to 40 pounds then please Lou by the end of the challenge? That does seem a scary amount to achieve but I'll give it a go!
I know what you mean spud about the cost. The way I'm looking at it is that I would have been spending easily half the amount of CD on food for myself anyway and the time had come to invest in myself. If I can do it and it takes, say, 12 months and I've put some on a CC (say around £1000 ) then that is better than being this big (and probably bigger) in 12 months and having STILL spent over half that amount on food/drink/takeaways. It will be a small amount of debt but I am happy to take that on the chin to lose weight, be healthy and get myself the life I don't currently have."Stay Wonky":D
