Was out for lunch today but was good and had chicken and veg and salad instead of cheesy mash :A
had nothing else so far:rotfl:

I had potato waffles, egg n beans tonight. Usual salad and fruit for lunch. Brekkie seems a long time ago, but was toast.
Need to meal plan for next week, our first frugal challenge week. Last weekends shopping consisted of loo rolls and cat food, so we've been using what we had. Could actually go at least another week or 2 without doing a proper food shop
Maybe I'll write a list of what we've got in, and work some meals out from thatIs it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Okay....will stop sitting in a corner. Not like me to keep me mouth shut for too long. I thought I would sneak in and take a look around. I need to lose two stone.....a stone of that is what I already lost last year and put back on again, so take note potato friend if you don't register every week even with a STS then you end up putting weight on!
I have decided against the dieting route, I have tried everyone in the last couple of weeks...most of them haven't lasted till lunchtime. I went out for a run instead. I find that when i run i don't want to eat when i come back. so I am going to try that and just try to eat healthy....
so stick me down again Lou, I am 10 stone 12 and would like to lose 28lb..
Well done BB.....is now the time to remind you that you thought you would never be able to do it - fantastic!Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

Hi everyone, I've been reading (or should I say lurking!) all your posts over the last few days and wow you are all so inspiring and funny with it too. I am also trying to lose weight and scrooge has very kindly recommended this thread to help me stay motivated. Well the first thing I need to do is gather up some courage to weigh myself and then post a target figure. I have just had a thought, as weigh in is over the weekend, I will weigh myself then rather than now  (yes I am procrastinating). I have never had a problem with my weight until I turned 40 and then middle age spread appeared along with the cellulite and all the other flabby bits. I'm in dire need of help now. I will continue to read and be inspired and will be back over the weekend to post how much I would like to lose. Thanks everyone.Save £12k in 2017 #14

Hiya peeps,
Well I did my first evening walk last night and my pedometer said that it was 1.24 miles and 2462 steps in 21 minutes, and burnt a measley 119 calories. Is that ALL??? I thought I was keeping up a decent pace too considering that the route is all ups and downs  Still, I guess that cancelled out the Ryvita with low fat houmous I then snuck as an 11pm treat
Oh and does anyone have any quick, easy and tasty ideas for couscous that I could make at work with only the use of a kettle and microwave? Tomatoes, spring onion, coriander, lemon juice , a little chopped chilli made beforehand. Make the cous cous un a bowl with hot water a.d then stir in the salad. Alternatively make the precious night if you like it cold . Range segments are nice in it or chick peas.
