You were right about the Grapefruit Diet Hypno, I QUIT.
I've had more grapefruit today than i've had in my entire lifetime, and i'm feeling yukky.
My dilemma now is, 'What am I going to do with the 3 litres of grapefruit juice and 8 grapefruits that I have left?'
No more faddy excursions for me, I'm back on the straight and narrow ..... until the next time .I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.0 -
Ouch.
OK, so the bl00dy shoes work  My ar5e feels like I've walked up ten flights of steps after a lunchtime walk of 1.7 miles...adding 3523 steps to my daily tally.
This is in horrified response to discovering that on an average workday I only clock up around 3094 steps...and that included a walk around Tesco and a short walk to the pub
HOWEVER, I'm not going to get too gung-ho about it all...or too depressed. I'm already moving more than I was so that's GOT to help the weight come off, even if it's not dropping off me like stick insects off a hot-plate.
That grapefruit thing sounds interesting...if I liked grapefruit! It's one of the only things I don't eat - too bitter  But maybe I'll try it again if it's some sort of fat-busterMortgage-Free WannabeMortgage at start [20/6/12]: £151,800/MFD Jun 2035 (age 65)Mortgage now [5/11/14]: £139,212.14/MFD Oct 2029 (age 59)Personal Library 2014:starmod: Read in 2014: 57/60 :starmod: In Progress: 2 :starmod: Books In: 94 :starmod: Books Out: 12 :starmod: TBR: 847 :starmod:0 -
Well done Thrifty,
What shoes are you wearing??
It feels like we are a group of product testers. Wouldn't it be great if we were getting paid for the privilege.
