I think that Jinks and Spud would make a most excellent team:D

Still feel dodgy today, another day of not eating any stodge should hopefully get me back to normal again....

B - All bran and skimmed milk
L - 3 x ryvita with seeds and 1/2 pot of cottage cheese with pineapple. yogurt, apple, banana
    D - Quorn bolognaise

I tried a couple of tankinis on last night and I seem to have lost a bit of weight from my legs and arms but I have a very flabby tummy still and some very strange looking bits just underneath my boobs, just at the bottom of my ribcage??? Not sure how to get rid of those bits:eek: not sure what they are called (boob cushions maybe):rotfl:

Dance of the day........fancy a bit of glamour this morning and to look like this woman would be amazing. (nice clip of Richard Gere too)

Coming back here week after week, reporting a STS gets a bit :( after a while,

STS is better than gaining though. I wish last October when I came back from holiday I had been able to STS (typed STD :rotfl:) as I wouldn't have now been in the position of the first 4 weeks of CD being about losing the 2 stone I've put on since then.

  • Could you add me to the spreadsheet? I don's have a summer target, but my overall target is a 31lb loss. I currently weigh 11st3lb and at 5'4" that makes my BMI 26.9. I've done my measurements and have lost 0.5" off my hips, so salsa is obviously working!

Part of my problem at the moment is it's constantly TOTM so I have been using is as an excuse for not losing anything. But the new me is going to work extra hard at resisting my cravings etc. I've also started taking vitamin supplements as I'm slightly anaemic.

I've decided that when I weigh in I'm going to get OH to watch and he's also doing my measurements. There's a very good reason for this. When we moved in together in December, I was comfortably a size 12. OH has a tendancy to snack and will offer me pringles, maltesers, etc. Now if he SEES how upset I get when I step on the scales, if he SEES what clothes size my vital statistics say I should be, perhaps he'll stop asking me if I want food!

Ok, so I have made a little bit of an investment in my new, healthful future today. I went out at lunchtime to buy a pedometer (finding one that does steps, distance, calories and has a timer) and ended up purchasing a pair of tan leather Walkstar III FitFlops too. However, I have been waffling around deciding whether to buy a pair for months now and decided that as I needed a decent pair of shoes to walk in anyway, that now was as good a time as any. I must admit that when I put them on in the shop they felt a tad...odd. Almost like I'd had a couple of gins! I'll let you know how I get on after my first evening walk this evening...that is if I can calibrate this pedometer ...

Hi All - hope it's OK if I join in. I am actually paying to go to a weight loss class as I find I just drift if I don't have an actual target / date to aim for but could do with some free motivation too.
Please put me down for 14 lbs initally. I have more to lose but will get totally demoralised if I see it in black and white!
