BB, not sure what to say hun.

You're a lovely gorgeous lady who deserves to be treated as such. He says and does some very cruel and hurtful things. Does he ever do or say anything nice to you? Get rid of him along with the many pounds you're shedding.

That said, I totally understand why you're doing what you're doing. I think I'd be the same.

Nitty gritty time.....how? You've mentioned drinking lots of water, which made me wonder if you're CDing. I told DH earlier, I really wish I could do it again but budgets just dont seem to allow at the moment unfortunately.

Whatever you're doing, keep going. You're doing really well, and I'm so proud (and a bit jealous ;)) of you :T

BB my lovely friend, your post has saddened me, however, I read it with an overwhelming respect and pride in the strength of your character.

I wont say a word about your OH, you have heard it all before but what I will say is that this time, not only will you show him but you will show yourself just how much of a remarkable person you are (we all know that already);)

Maybe then you can make other changes in your life:A
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

I dont know hun. I've lost weight with every diet I've stuck to - 3 stone on CD, 3 stone on SW. Even Slimfast worked for me years ago. Maybe my head isnt in the right place.

spud - have a read of some of this guy's newsletters on his willpower archive

It might help you think through where you need to be or want to be to lose weight. By coincidence, the article called the Lion is just about decreasing motivation the more weight you lose.

Thanks BB, I'll have a read now.

I dont like to blame DH, but to be honest, he isnt helping.

I eat really well during the week (we only eat together at the weekend). Weekends are where it all goes wrong.

One mention of the 'd' word, and he sulks, nay strops. Some of you might remember a big falling out a few weeks ago, turns out I'd mentioned the 'd' word. He becomes like a bear with a sore arriss even though I never ask him to do the diet, he feels like he should, then strops and I fail after a week or 2 just for an easy life.

Ohh I dont know. Maybe I should just do it anyway, ignore the moods and sulks. It's so difficult though :o

  • Yeah Spud, I have a similarr thing with Mum, she barely eats so if I do go on a "diet" and cut down so does she, but then I worry about her not eating enough, hence the monthly thing, I can manage a decent breakfast and lunch, just have to hope for the best at dinner.

perhaps you can do an 80/20 thing? eat well during the week and treat the weekends like normal? What kind of things do you think you eat that are so terrible?
    xxx
    Nevertheless she persisted.
