happy birthday spudulous lady
Am wearing a pair of cropped trousers that I bought off ebay and have never worn. I am pretty sure I bought them for my holiday last October, took them with me and never wore them because they felt a bit tight. They were 'discovered' last week when I was sifting through the wardrobe and they now fitThey even have a button and zip on - I don't normally buy trousers with that as they never do up, whatever style or size I seem to buy! Ah well, 1 piece of clothing down, only probably another 100 pieces that don't currently fit me to go.....

over the last year i have put on a tonne of weight to the extent that i now have either 13 lbs or a stone and half to loose all depending on whose scales i stand on!!! A lot of it has been a lack of self worth and i need to get that back again.
I've just started exercising again and am exercising quite heavily. i have a half marathon booked with hypno at the end of august and then a whole loooooad of events to do in 2011 and i arent going to make it around if i am still the weight i am!!

Of course you can join in Pania:)
Just let me know your target and I will add you to the spreadsheet. I tend to do things in 10 week stints to give us smaller targets too.
Anyone can join at any time though.
Glad to hear that you are thinking positively and getting back into your exercise. :TBut these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
Morning all,
I have finished 30 straight days of 'The Shred' and I thought I'd post the results for anyone interested in giving it a go..... They are as follows:-
May 31st 2010 June 30th 2010
Bust - 38.5" Bust - 37.0"
Waist - 33.0" Waist - 31.0"
Hips - 38.5" Hips - 37.0 "
Belly - 37.0" Belly - 34.0"
Thigh - 35.0" Thigh - 35.0"
BMI - 26 BMI - 24
BFI - 17 BFI - 15
Age 44 Age 44
Weight 11 stone 3lb. Weight 10 stone 13lb
Height 5' 6" Height 5' 6"
Size 14 Size 12
Fitness level - good Fitness level - very high
At the start I found level one very challenging although I regularly go to the gym and am very active. By the end I found the full level 3 manageable and I was barely sweating, which I think is quite remarkable.
Overall verdict - if you want to lose 4-5 lb of fat, and an inch or two off most parts of your body and get very fit into the bargain then this will do it.
Best bit of all, I got a wolf whistle yesterday, from one of the fit looking 20 somethings at the workshop where I do the accounts . That's been a long time coming :rotfl:.I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.0 -
...............*Lou Legs it to Asda to get said shred DVD*
Scrooge that it fantastic, you have dropped a dress size and have really made an impact on your whole body:T
A wolf whistle does lift your spirits doesnt it;) I got one the other week as I was out walking with OH past a country pup although he didnt seem to notice (I did though:D)
Unless they were whistling at OH's behind as it is very nice at the moment:rotfl:
Busy day for me today, work until 2pm then DS2 is having some dental treatment with sedation (extractions) and then I have to go to MrTs to pick up my Tesco direct order. Doubt we will have time to go out for our walk but I will be rushing around alot anyway.
Have a good day everyone:)But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
Thanks Lou,
I have just got a royal mail parcel sent from DH that really made me laugh.
I opened it and inside was the cutest blonde barbie doll, complete with pink hot pants, sunglasses and flowery halterneck top :rotfl:.
Hope DS is not in too much pain after his treatment x.I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.0 -
Well done on some fabby results scrooge :j
I have done day 8.....and need to really move onto level 2.....
I got to goal at WW yesterday, so my aim now is to tone up those flabby bits and not put the weight back on - hopefully Shred will do both those for me!
In the meantime I will continue "feeling the fear leave my body" :rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
