Did the shred and jogged this morning.....nearly boiled to death and was laying on the floor sweating more than a pervert in a knicker shop.

    Nomnoms have been (so far)
    B - smoothie
    S - banana
L - banana, banana, apple (I had nanas to get rid of, so I ate them)
    D - salad

I'm really not hungry, but I am making myself eat as and when I feel peckish.

Are you sure that is enough food Elf? There doesnt seem to be anything substantial on your list love xx

Well done on the excercise:T I am curious about this shred everyone is talking about.......

Lou, if I eat anything more, I feel queasy...Think it's the heat, I'll have a nice salad or a bowl of rice later so you don't worry too much about me

I agree with the walking and the pottering doing housework but I dont think I will lose much oggling at Rafa Nadal:rotfl::p

Oh, I don't know, think how fast your heart will be racing, that's got to be worth a few calories :)!! I seriously thought you were out there, giving it your all, with a tennis racket though.

Anyway talk of balls is a sensitive subject ........ DH was practicing his golf swing in the back garden earlier and managed to lob a golf ball through our dining room window.

    Good morning all.

What is this SHRED that I keep seeing everyone is doing??

Not a good start yesterday.....unless you count 2 cream cakes??.......No cakes or biscuits left in the house now, plenty of fruit so I am hoping for better results this week.

The 30 day Shred is an exercise DVD - various prices from Amazon, HMV etc, but I got mine from Tesco online for £6 so not a huge price.

It is the trainer from "The Biggest Loser" - Jillian Michaels, who is a bit scary. There are 3 different workouts, level 1, 2 and 3 and each of them are only 20 mins.

But they are only 20 mins because they are sooooo hard! Each 20 mins has 3 circuits of 6 mins:

    3 mins strength
    2 mins cardio
    1 min abs

plus a warm up and cool down at the start and finish of the workout.

It doesn't sound much, but boy does it really work those muscles more than any other workout I have ever known! It incorporates weights work using hand weights as well.

The only thing is that you need to really do it every day for 30 days - no excuses, no wimping out. And my legs are burning so much after 3 days that doing day 4 will really test my determination :rotfl:

Thanks for that Hypno and well done for keeping going:T

I don't have any hand weights though, can you do it without?

Wonder if it is in Asda as I am off there today........

Should be a good day food wise for me today and a walk will be on the cards at some point, might wait until tonight when its a bit cooler though.

Woo hoo that's cheered me up Louise; you're so right - I upped the exercise again this week and still only 1lb shifted but it could have been a pound on quite easily.
DS birthday, meal out and chocolate cake still knocking around at home have no connection with lack of major weight loss of course....(who am I trying to kid here?!):rotfl:
Scout camp next weekend so will try to weigh and report before I go on Friday.
    Cheers all
