Lou. you can use small bottles of water instead of handweights - very MSE, and when you have finished your workout you have a drink already to handSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

Lou - use tins of beans etc for weights.
6 pounds off for me this weekVery pleased with that. Really going to keep my fingers crossed for 3 pounds next week to hit the 2 stone mark.
As Lou said, better off than on, even half a pound every week is 2 stone in a year."Stay Wonky":D

Is this next week your *potential blip* week? Just remember and think of the feeling you had today when you got on the scales and saw the loss everytime you are tempted to stray.........you can do this my friend xxxBut these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -

Lets keep each other on track this next week Eh?;):cool:But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
It's a combination of things. I have double figure stone to lose
and my health is being affected.
On holiday I was told that everything wrong in our relationship *cough* in that area is 100% my fault (even though in the past he's said it was his fault) along with a load of other things he told me and then just over 3 weeks ago OH had an absolute verbal blow out and said he now can't control his eating and it was my fault. Apparently even leaving leftovers in the pan to cool to put in the fridge/freezer is my fault as he has to eat them and he blames me. Apparently it's a good job I've never had children as they would be like barrels.
I watched him verbally 'panicking' and trying to offload his situation onto me and I thought........that's it.......just you wait until I lose loads of weight. You can't blame me for anything then can you and you will have to take responsibility for your own shortcomings and learn to deal with the consequences of how you've treated me. His words don't hurt me any more, in fact they now spur me on.
To those who don't know me that well I apologise. It makes me sound like a nasty piece of work but I have had 7 years of being put down and told I am fat/stupid fat cow/fat !!!!! etc and I now know that this is my time to show him once and for all.
There. Now you know
PS - Lou, this week was my 'wobble' week so hopefully I can carry on now I'm through that."Stay Wonky":D

Hi BB,
You don't come across bad at all. You come across as a fighter who'll achieve her objectives. Keep looking at that Avatar, you chose it for a reason, one day that'll be you, with the kind of life you want and deserve. Just keep continuing on the same course, taking one day at a time.
We are all behind you 100% and believe in you x.I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.0 -
thankyou scrooge

That is BRILLIANT BB, I get exactly what you are saying, I would feel the same. and as Scrooge says, we are 100% behind you. You show the stupid ignorant knob jockey.
Now it is halftime I feel I should explain a bit more.
Its a bit like me at work, lots of people have told me leave, its not worth it it makes you miserable etc - all true and valid points but sometimes in life you have to prove to yourself that you can do this that your enemy is wrong about you, its hard to explain because really I should give no value to his opinion (as you should to OH) because he is a power hungry nut job(my boss) and his values mean nothing to me, but I need to know for my own satisfaction, my own pride? that I can prove him wrong.
When it works and you leave the snivelling little sod eating leftovers you will know ALL the stuff he has ever said about is wrong. - Which of course it is, but I think a similar thing with work - my friends tell me I am good at my job etc but unless I get it said officially I don't really believe it and will always wonder was it me?
You are a wonderful person and he is as nothing.
Love you hon
xxxxNevertheless she persisted.0
