Flipping eck! I only posted last night and popped back today to see if anyone else is joining in and there's 8 pages!!

Have been to Tesco's and haven't bought any rubbish apart from a mince pie - had a craving for one (was away a lot over Xmas!) and thought it could be my last hurrah before buckling down in earnest.

I have walked the dog twice so far today but its nigh on impossible with all of the ice to get any decent pace going. At least I wasn't sat on the sofa (like now!).

Today I've had cornflakes (gave milk to the dog, don't like it) and a mince pie and will make cheese and potato pies for tea to have with baked beans. I'm trying to use up the bits left over before starting the new stuff, so that will get rid of some aging spuds, a bit of Xmas cheese and some wilting cherry tomatoes (for the top of the pies).

Tomorrow I'm planning a SW recipe for Morrocan butterbeans and couscous - I've made it before and its yummy and for those of you that are SW types its free on a green day.

Anyway, hope everyone is well and getting stuck in? See you tomorrow!
  • Oooh, can I join in too?

My main problem is breakfasts, I find nothing fills me up better than a wodge of bread and jam in the morning

Any suggestions for easy fill-you-up brekkies? Apart from porridge, which I love, but can only eat smothered in syrup!

I like a big wodge of toast or bread and marmalade - just have it without the butter/grease - you'll hardly notice the difference after a day or two

    Only have one slice tho

Hiya, What a fantastic challenge! I'd love to join if I could please?I really need to take part, I'm sick of missing out on parties especially at christmas as I can't find anything to wear and feel like a blob. Then I eat cause I feel miserable. Going to follow the ww diet, still have the books.I need to loose about 4 stone, but will start of with a smaller challenge 21lbs.

    :dance:Dance of the Day..............

I reckon that having a good old mad dance brightens your day, raises energy levels and burns off a few excess calories too. So every day I shall post a dance of the day.

Dont be shy now, get your hairbrush microphones out and go mad

Just had a thought would it be better to put the dance of the day in your first post on the thread then we can easily find it every day??
All you'll need to do is edit it each day??

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

I want to lose 35lb by end June 2010. I want to think about trying for a baby later this year and want to get healthy before then :D
  • Hiya,

I would love to join up, I have approx one and a half stone to lose and would like to do it by the end of April 2010 as I am going away for a weekend soon after. I am a member of Slimming World but cannot really afford to join a Gym so I will be walking and doing an exercise DVD when I can. So add me to youe SS if you don't mind.
