Thanks mac, looks like my plan is scuppered already as mother dear wants to go to Ikea since we're both off work. So gutting the spare room will have to wait until later or tomorrow, oh joy.

Will have to clean the bathroom though as it really needs doing. :o

Managed to escape going to aqua fit with my mum this morning cos she has my aunt to go with - phew! I much prefer being lazy although it's not so good for me. :p

Better get dressed as she will be round soon wanting to go to Ikea - nooo. I will resist the random bits of rubbish I don't need. OH also wants to go to Boots for shampoo so must also resist buying toiletries I also don't need.

    Hi Sashybo
Hope you managed to resist the random bits - although I don't think anyone is strong enough to resist the hotdog at the end!!
Very random goings on on Dooyoo. Was it on another book review?

Hi sazzle - I resisted - only bought some tea towels and a new bath mat which we actually needed!:j My mum bought us some lunch though. :) OH wasn't too happy about being dragged round Ikea by my mum and aunt - said he wished he'd brought his Dsi. :rotfl:I said if I had to suffer it, so did he!

Yes it was another book review, I wouldn't know where to start reviewing anything else. :o But it was the same person being a bit nit-picking again - strange but don't think they mean anything bad by it.

Didn't go near Boots and apart from a couple of £s in Ikea we only put diesel in the car (£20). Also got a bit of cleaning and tidying done before leaving for Ikea.

Need to do shredding pile tomorrow, gut spare room and post the damn Bookmooch books! There are 5 sitting looking at me and worried how much they will cost to send - the bad point of Bookmooch.

It's OH's birthday tomorrow though so not sure how much will actually get done. I'm a bit annoyed as ordered a present from Play and it's still not arrived - hoping it comes tomorrow. :( Of course it's the one he specifically asked for - typical!

Present arrived in the post for OH this morning. :T He has already got £125 of birthday money. Think he will need to get some clothes with this as he needs a lighter jacket for summer and could do with new shirts for work as well.

Just need to jump in the bath and get ready as we are going out for lunch, not sure where though. Need to remember to post those books.

Finally posted the Bookmooch books so that is one thing done. Need to sort the room of doom tomorrow as back at work on Thursday (already! :().

Went to La Tasca for lunch (using the 50% voucher) but it was quite a late lunch as had a row before we went out. Accused again of being moody and snappy - which to be fair I probably am - but OH doesn't deal with it well as he just snaps back at me and then we have a fight. Felt a bit bad as it's OH's birthday, just feeling down lately and not sure why. :(

Lunch was nice though, we then went to Tesco and spent £26 on cereal, milk, juice, eggs, birthday cake and alcohol for the birthday boy. Was a bit shocked at the total!

Also we used Satan's own invention - the self-scan till - I hate them! It kept shouting at me but how can you pack your bags without lifting the stuff into the bag on the packing area?! Aargh! Stupid thing! :rotfl:

OH has had a bee in his bonnet today and has washed all the windows inside and out before cleaning out the cats litter tray and hoovering. There were also mutters about putting things on ebay later. His friends should visit more often if it means he actually cleans!

I've been taking it easy on the other hand since I'm back at work tomorrow. :( Put a washing on and hung it up and also did the shredding. :j Now snuggled on the couch with my blanket and three cats to keep me warm. :) OH has been a bit miffed as the cats keep choosing to pile themselves on my knee rather than sit on his. I think he feels unloved by the cats. :rotfl:

Need to check my bank account to see if any of the money I'm waiting on has been paid in. Hoping to get my Flooring fund finished this month and get the work done in March. After that all money will be going to pay the ccs off.

I'm tired after watching OH do all that housework and could do with a nap. :o I did make him cheese on toast as a reward though. :D

Well, back to work today - always a struggle after being off for a week. :( It was ok though and will be able to escape soon. I'm just holding on to that thought! Another person in my team quit - there are hardly any of us now.

Got my pureprofile money through plus £10 from Jackpot Joy so that's £35 to my Flooring fund - almost there. Also got some scratchie money through so that was split between the 2 ccs.

Going to have a bath and relax - Grey's Anatomy tonight. My sooky youngest cat is cuddled up with me - he likes to wedge himself between me and the side of the couch. :D

OH's friend is arriving later for a long weekend - OH went to Morrisons for some food and came back with croissants and beer. :rotfl:Oh dear.

All the wedding talk on the pad thread has scared me a bit! I would like to get married but the hassle, the expense and everyone looking at me really puts me off. I think I'm a bit strange. :p

Work was dull and really dragged in today - so glad it's the weekend. :j:j

Probably not up to much tonight, will probably be roped into playing WoW with the boys.

Came home from work and found the cats trying to eat some croissants that they had managed to take out of the packaging. Cheeky gits! They actually seem to think they are people and are entitled to our food. :rotfl: Had to replace my last bin because it was touch top and they figured it out and went bin raiding every night.

Should really check my accounts and see what's been paid in - waiting on £38 click money so that will be going to the Flooring Fund.

Well got £25 from Harrispoll into my Paypal account and £2 from clicks so that's another £27 to my Flooring fund. :j Very close to £350 now - once I have that we will call out the joiner again to give us an estimate for laminate in the hall. The same man laid my mum's flooring and it looks really good and is well done so worth the money.

OH's friend brought up his laser pointer for the cats to chase - pretty funny. My poor dimwit boy cat really can't understand that he can't catch the light. :rotfl:

Had a chilled out night last night and played some WoW. Not sure what we are up to today.

Still waiting on money from clicks and Jackpot Joy so once that comes through should have enough for the Flooring. :j Also got £20 M&S vouchers from MyVoice today in the post.
