Have been very lazy - spent yesterday reading and playing WoW again. :o We then had a Dominos for tea - yummy but expensive, although it was split between us and OH's friend so only cost us two thirds.

Actually need to start doing things and visiting people at the weekends instead of being so lazy all the time. Just feel so drained after work, grrr  and I don't even have children or anything except the housework, OH and the cats!

So far today have read in bed for an hour and then got up and stripped the bed. Washing the mattress and pillow protectors first and hoping they will dry by tonight before putting clean sheets on.

OH and friend are at Morrisons - again - buying bread and milk. They have been gone a suspiciously long time. They are going to meet another friend later who will cut their hair for them so I will have peace.

Doubt I will do anything productive today. The bathroom needs cleaned again, I seem to spend my life doing that!

Had major Monday blues today, resulting in a bit of a cry before work, then some crying in work. :( But managed to get to the bathroom so didn't embarrass myself too much.

Really don't like this job so will definitely be taking the admin bank work although it's a wage drop and will cost more in travel. I need to get out of that place - it's so depressing. Just waiting on references and occupational health checking out with the admin bank now -got my Disclosure last week. I know that one reference has been sent back definitely but will need to ask my team leader whether she has sent her reference back yet.

Can't wait to hand my notice in - was so close to just walking out this morning. :( Decided to be adult and stay as really can't afford to walk out. Had to play a game with myself though - just last until tea and then if I still felt crap, I could go home; followed by just last until lunch etc.

Got back from work and cleaned the bathroom (again) and loaded a washing of towels. House isn't looking too bad, just the usual clutter, but need to get OH to put more stuff on Ebay.

Was a total idiot last night and knocked a cup of tea over the computer desk where OH had handily left his iphone and new DSi sitting. Snatched them up as quick as I could but OH says some has gone into the DSi so just have to wait and see if still works. :(

So not great and still feeling a bit rubbish really. Got £10 M&S voucher through from Valued Opinions today.

Just wish we didn't have all this debt hanging over us, things would be so much easier.:wall:

Well it seems the DSi is officially dead. :( Don't know what we will do as can't afford to replace it. Poor OH only got it last month, I am a clumsy fool.

Work was just as bad as yesterday, plus had some delightful woman being very rude and obnoxious at the end of my shift. Was so angry I was shaking by the time she hung up on me. Hate, hate, hate this job. I think my tolerance level for it is falling fast.

Went out to get cat litter and then went to Makro for toilet roll and got some Seriously Strong cheese as well - BOGOF for £3.59.

Managed to get enough points on Lightspeed to get £3 Paypal. Doubt I will bother with their surveys much anymore as the points they give are rubbish compared to what they used to be.

Just praying for the weekend and a start date for the admin bank job now. Hope it's not the references holding things up.

Work dragged in today but found out my manager has sent my reference to the HR dept, who then have to send it on (or something ). Anyway, at least I know it's done, if not sent back to the admin bank yet.

Got click money through today so most of that has gone to finishing off my Flooring fund. :j:j Now just have to get a proper quote but hopefully will have enough and if not enough at least the bulk of it.

Now need to start thinking what to save up for next with the survey and click money - the car needs a new windscreen and think the excess will be about £100, so might save for that, we also need a better lock for the front door and seem to have some problem with the shower, the water is only lukewarm at best *brrrr* -OH thinks it's the temperature regulator but will need to get a plumber out to look at it. Plus of course there is always the debt to pay off. *sigh* So need money for all of those things really._pale_

Looks like we might be able to claim for the DSi on the home insurance as have accidental damage cover. Depends on the excess though.

    Hi Sashybo
Sorry to hear works been awful. But very impressed you've got your flooring fund all sorted!!:j

KNow exactly what you mean about having the debt hanging over your head all the time - I so wish I could go back to uni and retrain, but we've got the debt, the windows need replacing, as does the kitchen, oh and most of the lights wiring in the house.
Wish I'd paid attention when people said that buying a house would be such a constant drain on the bank account!!

Hey Sazzle. :hello: Yay for flooring fund. :j Thanks for being impressed. :rotfl::D

Yes, we didn't realise how expensive owning a house would be either. Something is always broken or needing replaced, kind of like our car.

What would you retrain in? I went back to do a post-grad twice and gave up both times. :o Don't think it would be a good idea to try for a third!

Hi Sashy! Is DSi as in Nintendo?
I sent DD's DS away last week for a repair as she took it to out of school club in October (despite Mummy saying "Don't take it in - it will get broken"), some kid dropped it and it wouldn't power up after that.

Anyway I sent it off the CONSOLE DOCTOR - by Special Delivery. It went on the Saturday and arrived back on Thursday and cost £39.99.

I'd highly recommend them - check it out. :)

Work was ok today but TFI Friday tomorrow!

Not been up to much since I got home from work, just relaxing and reading. Wrote a new review on Ciao last night and have been returning reads and rates tonight.

OH made macaroni last night and I had the leftovers for lunch today. The cats tried to have it as a snack last night when I left it cooling on the kitchen worktop. They are getting far too cheeky but can't keep them out of the kitchen as it's an open plan kitchen/living room.

Hoping to hear back from the admin bank soon. :undecided

Back from work early as feeling yuckky today. Managed to get through the morning but just felt rubbish and had to come home at lunch. Again not liking the job really not helping. :(

Hoping to feel better later so I can go and see my sister and the kids. Not been down for a while and miss seeing them.

Not feeling so great so will be back later if there's anything to report.
