Had a long lie today then got up and put the washing away. Whilst doing this I noticed that OH had a very messy wardrobe so went through the clothes and managed to put some away for recycling and found lots more he doesn't wear. So that's going to my brother if he wants any of it. Some of the things have only been worn once as I bought them and OH didn't tell me he didn't like them. Instead he wore them once then put them back in the wardrobe never to see the light of day again.
Just going to have a bath while OH starts another batch of home brew lager. The last batch is still maturing but should be ready to drink in about a week.
Again have three cats piled on my knee - I feel like a human cat cushion. :rotfl:
Think we will just be having a relaxing day again today. I only have 3 days at work this week, than on Annual leave until 4th Feb. :j Have dreaded interview on Thursday though so really need to start preparing for it.I'm very bad at interviews as have terrible nerves. Not looking forward to it at all.

Well, yesterday afternoon I started looking at what I needed to get organised for the interview on Thursday and had a small panic. OH instead of just being nice and saying "You'll be fine" then proceeded to tell me to stop being stupid and panicking. In a very patronising voice. That funnily enough didn't really help and he really didn't get what he'd done wrong even when I cried. :wall:
I just hate interviews and always panic badly, I thought he might have realised that by now and know how to help me deal with it. But no, apparently not.
Work was ok today, helped by the fact that I only have two days of work after today until annual leave (and dreaded interview).
Got a cheque through from Opinion Health today - finally - after taking about 2 years to get to payout and waiting from September when I requested it.
Got home from work and cleaned out the cat litter, only to have my boy cat jump right in and make a mess again. Dirty little tinker.

Very strange things afoot.
Haven't been getting any notifiiations from any diaries I've subscribed to??
Anyway, spending some time catching up now.
Sorry to hear you've hurt your back, how'd you manage to do that?
I've thought about trying the Susie Stackhouse books, but to be honest I lost interest halfway through the TrueBlood series. Still I suppose it's not much to order from the library!!
Just in case I don't get any notifications and I forget, good luck with the interview on Thursday. Hope you get what you want from it!NSD -5/20

Ok feeling a bit depressed - we were talking about when we would like to sell our flat and get a house the other day. OH then piped up, "But I don't think we can sell cos we have some order on the house after Northern Rock took us to court".
Turns out they put an Inhibition order on us which means we can't sell the house without paying them off in full. Didn't realise what that was at the time we got it.
The court thing was settled - we pay £150 per month 0% interest, plus court fees. I HATE bloody Northern Rock! We currently owe just under £10,000 to them. :mad:Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £10,546, Car loan CC 0% BT £5200. Do you need any help with the interview prep?
I'm pretty good at interviews (Being chatty is good in some situations!!) and recently got a book about how to move on to bigger and better things. I could look through it for tips if you need it!0 -
Thanks FF, that's really nice of you. Tips are always welcome!
I'm quite shy when I don't know people well so find it hard to be confident in interviews.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £10,546, Car loan CC 0% BT £5200. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.0 -

Hi Sazzle. :hello:Thanks for the good luck.
Slipped and fell on the ice last week and hurt my back, it's better now though.
I'm quite liking the Sookie Stackhouse books, was a bit meh about the first one but have read the second and third and they are much better. It's quite light reading so I'm getting through them quickly and find them fairly enjoyable.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Ok, considering the Northern Rock debacle and have calmed down a bit now.
We won't be looking to move for at least another 2 years and by then the NR debt should be down quite a bit.
Also, we will have got rid of the other debts - DMP should finish September 2012 - and our ccs will be long gone. Car will be paid off in December this year, so that will be £165 per month to throw at debt.
Ok, it's not looking too bad but will still have to pay about £5000 to NR if we want to sell our own house. Still if we could manage it that would mean we were practically debt free (apart from my SAAS debt - 0% - and the mortgage).Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Well not much to report today, still waiting on OH to get back from work so we can have dinner.
Work was blah as usual but only one more day to go until annual leave. :j
Got quite a few surveys to do but not really in the mood at the moment.
My mum wants me to go to aqua aerobics and yoga with her on Friday. :rotfl:Oh. Dear. God. I'm not much for the exercise, would rather be lazy and eat junk. Said I would think about it. Hmm, would need a swimming costume though as the only bikini I have is about 10 years old - literally.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.
