Hi Sashy, you sound like you're doing well :T
Great news about the bathroom too - you'll feel great when it's finished. Do you get the lovely job of cleaning all the grout off?! That's a carp neverending job - but worth it ;)
    Have a good weekend!

Hi mac :hello: My cousin did the tiling for me so he did most of the cleaning as well, just got OH to dust the last bit off. :j

The tiles look really good and am so glad it's finally done - there was carpet in the bathroom when we moved in two years ago and we just never seemed to have the money to replace it with tiles. I don't get carpet in the bathroom, it just seems a weird idea to me!

Went to see my sister and retrieve my roasting tins, also got New Moon (Twilight) book from her to read. We went to get cat litter and then bought some lunch to take to my mum's. Had a nice day so far, except for the freezing weather.

Had to laugh at my brother's status on facebook "Work experience is awesome! Working in minus 20 and then fell into a thorny bush" :rotfl: The scary thing is he's not being sarcastic!

Had a quiet night last night and helped OH bottle his homebrew which took about an hour but now have roughly 17 big bottles of beer maturing nicely.

Realised yesterday that OH and I have been together for 7 years. Doesn't feel that long! My oldest nephew is 8 so I have been with OH for almost his whole life - weird.

Managed to withdraw £10 from Virgin from my scratchies so that will be going towards the ccs when it arrives in the bank.

Planning on a lazy day today, still in pjs with two of the cats snoozing on my knee. Got a big Battenburg cake for £1 in Morrisons yesterday - yum - so looking forward to some of that with a cup of tea.

Started watching series one of Being Human which my mum bought for my Christmas and am quite enjoying it. It's a bit far-fetched, a ghost, a vampire and a werewolf sharing a house :rotfl: but it's enjoyable escapism.

Just laughing at OH shouting at his PS3 just now as he is playing Assassin's Creed and is having problems getting off his horse when he is being chased. :rotfl: He has also named the horse Timothy.

Well, have been lazy as promised, really should have cleaned the bathroom as it does need it. Keep going in to admire my new tiled floor and it would look better if I'd actually cleaned the bathroom. :o

The two furry ladies are currently sat at the living door crying for my OH cos he is in the other room playing WoW instead of paying attention to them. :rotfl: Little b*ggers, I'm in the room with them and am just ignored! My boy cat is just chilling out on top of the cabinet. He has a bed up there incase you're wondering - one of many cat beds in the living room!

Just got some shortbread in the oven in an attempt to stop myself buying cakes and biscuits by baking them instead. The shortbread was crumbling to bits when I was rolling it out. *grr grr* So not sure how it will turn out.

Don't want to go back to work tomorrow, really feel I don't have enough time to do anything or see anyone due to work. I feel like I'm neglecting my family and my friends as I'm just so tired after work that I just want to go home and lie on the couch instead of doing things and going out. :(

Well work was hellishly busy again today, yuck. Was late out and then had to slide over the very deadly icy pavements to Morrisons for some juice, milk and potatoes. Why is it always the heavy stuff I run out of and have to buy on the way home from work?:confused:

Got home and OH had to go out as doing a favour for a friend. So I cleaned out the cat's litter tray (yuck) and cleaned the bathroom. Have run a bath and am just going to go and relax in it after ordering the cat food. We feed them raw minced meat which is delivered frozen and we seem to running low so re-stocking.

Just ordered £10 Amazon voucher from Shop and Scan as got my points today. Also got the last £10 Amazon voucher I ordered from them through the post today. :j

The shortbread seems to have come out ok but not as good as it usually is. I wonder if it's because I used different butter?

Well, off to relax in my bath now, soo tired and OH will be making dinner soon. :T

Forgot to mention - was proud of myself for only buying what I went in for at Morrisons. :j Well apart from the Dentyl mouthwash but it was half price and have been wanting to try it for a while.

So only spent about £7 which is good because I normally go in for a couple of things and come out with a couple of bags full. :o

Well work was hellish again, so busy and some people are so rude. Just because I'm on the other end of the phone and you can't see me doesn't mean you can be obnoxious! On the other hand, when I worked in retail some people were rude to your face anyway.

Oh well. Got another £10 Amazon voucher through from IPSOS today. Not sure what the Amazon vouchers are going towards yet but I'm sure we will find something. It's OH's birthday at the start of February so should really get a move on and start buying a couple of presents.

Just fed the cats and having a cup of tea, really need to write a review for Ciao and Dooyoo. Probably won't though since I'm lazy. :o

Well done on the Ipsos vouchers. I used mine to give to my Mum at Christmas. Got Boots ones. I never seem to qualify for Lightspeed these days, have given up on Valued Opinion and GlobalTestMarket as they only give prize draw entries now. Got a good one from Indiefield the other week though that is an ongoing one, so should be a decent earner.

Also good on resisting in Morrisons, if I only need a few bits, I tend to go to Spa or Somerfield as I know I won't be tempted, the prices are too high!

Hi gilli, yes Lightspeed are not as good as they used to be. I'm still getting decent surveys from Valued Opinions though. Global Testmarket isn't as good anymore cos they don't give points when you screen out now. :( Don't think I'm a member of Indiefield but have heard of it.

Yes all the half-price-ness of Morrisons seems to make me go a bit mad and decide I really need a lot of rubbish! Good tip about Spar and Somerfield, however, I live across the road from Morrisons = bad times!:rotfl:

Yet again work was rubbish but not as rubbish as yesterday. At least I'm one day closer to the weekend. :j

Had my chiropractor appointment today after work. I go every 3 months and get my back and neck worked on. I'm feeling a bit achey now but will feel great tomorrow. My back was really getting sore and needed work, I could feel the tension in it.

Went to see my mum after my appointment and she told me to invite OH round cos she was buying us an Indian takeaway. :D We watched some of Batman Begins on ITV - weird film!

The cats weren't very amused that we went out and left them to entertain themselves for the evening. All three of them now cuddled up on my knee - they would love to have me at home all day as their human chair. :rotfl:

I really need to get motivated and start job hunting incase my fixed term contract ends in July. It's looking increasingly likely but they still don't know if they want to end the contract or extend it. The job itself is dull but it's very convenient for me and the money is good for the type of job it is. *sigh*

Cashed out £18 from Fatcheese today from my daily clicks. Also waiting on my cashout from Pureprofile (£26). This money will probably go towards my flooring fund as just want to get it done now.
