Argh the old, I cooked so you do the washing up adage.
I think that washing up is an integral part of the cooking role.
That would be like me doing the ironing and then leaving it for OH to put away...oh right I do do that...would explain the pile of ironed clothes on the dining room table!NSD -5/20

Aah, but if I left the washing up he would use every dish in the house before he thought of *gasp* washing them! :rotfl:
I refuse to iron - I told OH, if he wants something ironed he can do it himself - he doesn't iron. We buy a lot of non-iron clothes. :whistle:Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Haha!! Loving the non-iron clothes idea! Worryingly ironing is one of the domestic things I almost enjoy.

Still feeling very tired and not sleeping great but feeling ok. Went into town earlier with my mum and had a wander about.
Bought the 3 for £5 books in The Works - like I actually need anymore books.:o Also bought some cream, hair bobbles and milk but nothing else so was proud of (mostly) behaving myself.
Got money through from Ciao surveys, click money and Pinecone - all into my Paypal account. Going to leave it there for now as not sure what I will be saving my survey and click money towards yet.
Also made the mistake of starting to play Farmville on Facebook - it's strangely addictive. :rotfl:Damn the pad thread - they made me want to try it!
The man we wanted to do our floor seems to have either changed his number or gone out of business. So not sure what we will be doing about the flooring. Suppose we should get some quotes but am a bit wary of getting someone to do work when we haven't seen anything they've done before. Spoke to my work today and sent in sick note. They were nicey nice but said if I was off for over two weeks they would have to consider termination as I'm on a fixed term contract. Not surprised at their attitude tbh, staff turnover is very high there.
Will have to start looking for something else and also need to chase the admin bank and see if they are still going ahead with taking me on.
Have been slightly more productive today as have been to Tesco for shopping and have a banana loaf baking in the oven just now. Tesco vouchers for Pizza Express arrived this morning as well. :j
OH has just had a review for our DMP with CCCS and our payment is increasing by £25 a month to about £180 from May. They did want to increase it by £80 by we can't afford that as have credit cards not included on the DMP.These are the cards I'm padding to so hoping they will be gone fairly quickly.
Think I will try to write another review for Ciao and Dooyoo today, need to do something productive with the time off. Another exciting job is going through OH's wardrobe and throwing out the old, falling to bits shoes he doesn't wear anymore.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Actually did write a new review yesterday so have it sitting in my review folder ready to post at some point. Didn't get round to the shoes but will do that today, should only take 10 mins really.
OH got £20 of HMV vouchers through today from My Voice. :j He has also been busy putting various bits and pieces on ebay. Hoping to use the money towards our overdraft.
Also received the Factor's bill yesterday. £116 but should have been £155 - we had some credit on our account from the last time they overcharged us. I really resent paying factor's fees as they really do get paid for nothing - they organise building and garden maintenance (usually badly) and often pay over the odds for it too - then we get charged more.
We have finally decided to start putting £20 a month away to cover this as we get the bill every 6 months. Should also start doing this for car MOT, tax and servicing. Told you we were bad at budgeting.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £10,546, Car loan CC 0% BT £5200. Slept in today and woke up to a lovely sunny day outside - still freezing though!
Still not done OH's shoes - must do today. Put a loaf on this morning i.e. chucked the stuff in the breadmaker. Should really do some housework but will probably leave it till tomorrow.
Added a few pad people as friends on Facebook as they are fanatical farmers on Farmville there. :rotfl:
Paid the factor's bill yesterday - no council tax this month so that money covers the factor bill. Also requested some money from a few click sites, just small amounts but better than nothing.
OH won more money on Jackpot Joy so £25 will be going to the ccs when it arrives in his bank account.
Nothing much planned today, just going to try and relax with OH.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £10,546, Car loan CC 0% BT £5200. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.0 -
