Thanks sazzle - yes The Sims 3 is dangerous! :rotfl:
I think the seminar went fairly well, it lasted for two hours (and yes there was role playing) and there were about 12 other people there but only one other girl. I think I did ok in the role play and asked a question at the end. We had to do the whole introduce yourself thing and I think that went well as I got a laugh from the group.
Only thing worrying me is that I didn't answer a question when they were asking the group things about the company. Should find out next week if they want to see me again for a more formal interview. I enjoyed it and am glad I went, just hope I get called back for the second interview.
Feeling quite drained now though and have a doctor's appointment first thing. Also picking my nephews up from school and nursery tomorrow and don't have the car - hoping in vain that the weather will be nicer. Going to make chocolate cornflake nests with mini eggs for Easter with the boys in an attempt to keep them occupied.: Also my sister's birthday so can drop her present off along with her children in the evening.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Doctor's appt was fine, she said I'm looking much better already just resigning from that job and looking for something else. Went across to Morrisons to get ingredients for the cornflake nests - how expensive are Mini Eggs?!
Got home put a washing on and a loaf in the breadmaker, washing now hung up so not doing too badly today. It's not raining. :j But it is pretty cold and don't have the car so will probably have to leave about half two to get the boys on time.
Thought about taking library books back but they're not due until next week, might do that tomorrow though.
Paid my minimum payment plus a bit extra to my Barclaycard today which is looking good - hoping to be under £600 by the end of April. The debt we have on a DMP is sitting at roughly £4700 and our Northern Rock loan ( boo hiss) is at £9500. So total debt (not counting student bursary I'm paying back) is under £15000. :jSuccess is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Well yesterday didn't go quite as planned as my sister was able to pick the boys up from school and nursery. I went down to see her anyway with my mum and brother because it was her birthday and her house was mad as usual - with 4 kids I'm not sure it's ever quiet!
Had fun playing with the kids and made the cornflake nests with the oldest two which went a bit wrong when we were melting the chocolate. How on earth I managed to mess up cornflake cakes I don't know but they tasted ok. :rotfl:
Not sure I will be up to anything today as I'm feeling pretty lazy. OH is off work tomorrow but not sure if we will be doing anything.
Still waiting to hear about jobs and really need to get going with the applications again as have been a bit lazy. Hmm, a recurring theme perhaps?Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £10,546, Car loan CC 0% BT £5200. Melting chocolate is actually really difficult!! I've tried it a couple of times and it's gone wrong both times. The rice krispie cakes were a bit soggy where I had to add milk to the chocolate. Maybe there is a trick we missed!
I hate applying for jobs, I'm probably going to end up doing my job forever as I hate it so much. But, the more you apply for, the more chance you have! Oh and well done on the clean bathroom!! Hope it helped!! xBecame Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16

Sarah is right, don't let it deter you!!! I have a wonderful quote stuck to my mirror... no idea who and I can't be bothered to go look.... Just googled it, Samuel Becket:
Ever failed. No matter. Try again. Fail again. Fail better.
You will get there Sashy, everything happens for a reason. I know it's cliche but generally I find it all comes together in the end xxxBecame Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16

Looks like we are going into town today as we have Tesco vouchers for Pizza Express as well as vouchers for Marks & Spencer. OH has a £20 voucher for River Island that he got for Christmas and hasn't seen anything he's wanted from there since - typical!
Just caught one of my cats eating the soil from my bonsai tree!:rotfl: This is the same cat who likes to groom my hair when she thinks it needs washed. She puts her paw on top of my head and when I try to move the claws come out. She's not normal. :rotfl:
Will start applying for jobs again next week, still waiting to hear from admin bank about a start date and waiting to hear about another couple of applications.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.
