Sorry to hear of all your troubles Sashy
((((((Hugs)))))
Hope things are easier on shorter hours and that the new job comes up trumps asap. Take care Hun xx0 -
Thanks FF and mac.
Feeling pretty sick about going back today even if it is only for two hours. There's no way I could have gone straight back to full time, I don't think I could have forced myself to go back if that was the case.
Well, working 10-12 and then going to the hospital with my friend at 1pm for some maternity appointment as she doesn't want to go on her own.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Work was fine - mostly because I didn't have to do any work.
Probably won't be going back on the phones until next Monday, which is good. So in for 3 hours tomorrow and 4 on Friday, will see how it goes. Being on the phone is the part I hate most and is my actual job so will have to see how I cope with that.
My friend had her hospital appointment rescheduled so we met up with another friend and did a bit of shopping. I bought mother's day cards for my mum and OH's mum - couldn't find any funny ones for ages and don't like the soppy ones! My mum already knows I love her, don't need to buy her a card saying it with a soppy poem. :rotfl: Also bought myself some new pyjamas from Primark for the princely sum of £7. :j Paid for with click money too.
My mum has asked for hanging flower baskets for mother's day so will have to hunt some down. Found some in M&S but they were £10 each. :eek:Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £10,546, Car loan CC 0% BT £5200. Glad work went better than you hoped

:rotfl::rotfl: mac - I'm not handy or crafty at all! I will have a scout about the boards though and see! :think:Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £10,546, Car loan CC 0% BT £5200. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.0

Was at work today for 3 hours and left feeling thoroughly depressed. Was listening into calls and really don't want to go back on the phone. The general public are so rude most of the time plus we are so micro managed in my role. Really made me remember why I was signed off sick in the first place.
I need a new job right now - going to do some job applications this afternoon, I can't stay in that job much longer.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £10,546, Car loan CC 0% BT £5200. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.0 -
Well work was rubbish as usual, in for 4 hours today. Was feeling really down about it last night and cried until I fell asleep. Then cried this morning. But feeling a bit better now and just want out of there.
Have started a couple of job applications and have submitted another one this afternoon. Also chased the admin bank and have given them another referee to get a second reference so hopefully they will get hold of that quite quickly.
Was discussing where to look for work with another girl on my team and she told me about a few roles since she is looking too.:rotfl: The place is awful and everyone wants out!
Chased Shop and Scan again as well and they are sending me a replacement voucher.:A
Will need to look at mother's day stuff as well. Hmm. Read a truly awful book yesterday and want to write a review for Ciao and Dooyoo. Lacking the energy atm but need to get round to it as need every penny.
OH is obsessively working out morning and evening with his new weights. Wonder how long this fad will last. * missing rolling eye smilie again* I give it a month at most before he's bored and can't be bothered. :rotfl:We shall see, maybe he will surprise me. At least it's making me do my Pilates at night.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £10,546, Car loan CC 0% BT £5200. Hi Sashybo,
Manic week at work - had our School IMprovement Partner (ie the person between us and OFSTED) in on Thursday so of course it was all hands on deck and stress stress stress!!!
I think the phased return thing sounds grand - hopefully you'll have the bank admin one to move onto before your back to full time!!
Did you apply for that railway one? At least you know you aren't alone with other people applying for jobs. Although it still doesnt' help with the job being awful.
I love Glee!!! Welcome to the dark side! Admittadly I can't watch Mr Shu do any singing or dancing but the rest is hilarious. I am a particular fan of Sue Sylvestor and am considering modelling my teaching style on her :rotfl:Some of her quotes are brilliant!!
Loving how your OH is a fan of the fads. Mine went on for months about buying a juicer. It's been used a grand total of once - which I then had to clean and has sat slowly gathering dust, first on the counter and then in the cupboard. I feel it's next step is to gather dust in a charity shop...NSD -5/20

Hi sazzle. :hello: Oh work sounds busy. Yes I've started the application for the railway one and will have to get it finished today.
:rotfl:@ Glee. Mr Shu is pretty cringy to watch sometimes! I do find the whole programme a bit cringy with all the moralising but it's funny most of the time. Yes Sue Sylvester has to be the best character in it. :rotfl: "That's How Sue C's It" :rotfl:
Oh yes, OH is a fad fanatic. Usually it's technology based so more expensive. He will play with something for a few weeks and then forget about it. Then sell it on ebay a few months later. :rotfl:
Ok so still have to complete mission to get hanging baskets for mother's day that don't cost a fortune. It's my sister's birthday in a couple of weeks so need to think about something for her as well.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.
