    Hi Sashybo

A very quick drop in, as heading into work any sec. Hope things are all sorted when you managers manager rings you. This other job sounds interesting - what is it doing?

It just seems ridiculous that if a dr thinks you need to be off work for x amount of time a job (with no medically trained people there) can decree that you have to be back before then. But alas that's the way it is.

Anyway, sounds like you are keeping very busy at the moment, which is always a good thing to be doing!

Hi sazzle, thanks for your post.

Well my manager's manager didn't phone yesterday so looks like I will just have to speak to my team leader again tomorrow. I think I will have to go back next Thursday or Friday to avoid hitting the 28 day mark.

OH is away to Aberdeen to see a friend today and not back until tomorrow night so on my own with the cats for company. Might see a friend later, think it would be good to get out of the house. I'm trying not to worry about work but finding it difficult. :(

The job I'm thinking of applying for is in the railways - just customer service stuff and a bit extra like CCTV - so it sounds interesting but still something I would have some experience for.

No real plans for the day atm, so just going to do my daily clicks and try not to brood about things.

Still not heard from work. Not feeling very good today either, feeling a bit yucky and worried about everything.

Taking my sister to B&Q later to get some paint but think that's all I will be doing. Should be an adventure with 3 kids under 3.

Saw my friend yesterday which was nice and then went round to my mum's for tea. Trying not to be alone and thinking about things. Not much else to report really.

Will need to call work on Monday and see what can be sorted. Still think will have to go back on Thursday or Friday though. :(

B&Q wasn't too bad yesterday, we were only there for about half an hour looking at paint. 3yo nephew got a bit bored but was generally well behaved - my mum texted me this morning to say he has chicken pox. The other three kids will probably get it as well now - my poor sister!

OH came home from Aberdeen quite late last night and was knackered. Think we will be heading out to Makro later as need fabric conditioner and stock cubes, also need to go to Pets at Home for cat litter. So an exciting day planned. :p

My oldest cat seems to be getting over the need to pull the fur out of her leg so that's something less to worry about too. :)

Also forgot to mention that I had a bit of a Glee-fest last night after accidentally watching episode 9 on E4 the other night. I then had to watch the rest online and actually enjoyed it. :o

Now I hate musicals and some of the singing does get annoying but mostly it was pretty funny. :rotfl:

Spent a lot of money in Makro yesterday :o but did get enough alcohol to last us a long time and it's still cheaper than going to the pub. Also got two 5L containers of Comfort so that should last a while. Got two big tubs of chicken and beef stock cubes, again should last quite a few months.

No food shopping this week though due to the Makro expense, still have a lot of veg in the fridge from my trip to Aldi. Think the only thing we really need is milk and possibly some cheese. Also got a lot of lemons cheap so most have been sliced and frozen for G&T's.

Spent yesterday afternoon drinking alcoholic ginger beer and G&T's watching Blackadder. OH bought the dvd boxset with some HMV vouchers from surveys, needed some alcohol and silliness to try and forget the rubbishness with work.

OH also got a cheque for £30 through from Indiefield for a blog thing he did online so that will be banked next week. I think most of it will be spent on a set of weights since he's decided he wants to exercise more and we can't afford to join the gym.

I think I will apply for some jobs tomorrow and find out if I can either start the admin bank job without the second reference or get it from somewhere else. My work are taking a ridiculously long time to sort it out and I just want to get out of this job asap.

Going to have some lunch now, think it will be a very healthy piece and potato scone and fried egg. :p:D

Spoke to my team leader this morning and there is a possibility of going back and doing half days instead of going straight back to full time. Would rather not go back at all but that isn't an option until I have another job. :( So waiting on team leader's manager to phone me back and see what can be arranged.

Have already cleaned the bathroom, cleaned out the litter tray and put a washing on. Should really go out to the library (have no books to read, eek!) and to Boots as OH needs shampoo, also need to get milk. Can't really go anywhere until I get this phone call though, grr.

Trying to mentally prepare myself to go back to work on Thursday, not a nice thought.

Well I'm going back to work on Wednesday but only for two hours. Going to be doing a phased return so will be increasing my time by an hour each day, so Thursday will be three hours and Friday 4 etc.

Glad I don't have to go straight back to full time but wish I had a new job to go to instead.

Went out and got the things I needed plus went to the library. Looked at Mother's Day cards but wasn't really in the mood and couldn't see anything I liked. OH asked me to get mince as he's decided to make lasagne tonight - I'm not arguing. :p

Still need to find out about my missing reference for the admin bank and do some job applications.

Also OH got his new DSi delivered today ( replaced by contents insurance) to replace the one I soaked with tea.

This is my last full day off work so plan to relax as much as possible. Not looking forward to going back to work tomorrow although it will only be for 2 hours. Feel a bit sick about it really.

Stuck in today as waiting for a couple of deliveries - bet they won't arrive until 5pm.

Not feeling motivated to do anything. Am also annoyed as ordered a voucher from Shop and Scan on 19th Feb that hasn't turned up. Sent an email asking about it and they sent one back saying I should have contacted them within 10 working days. Don't know if they will send another one out but have emailed to ask anyway. It's pretty ridiculous because I'm only about 2 days outside of the 10 working days.

Glad you're only doing phased return to start with, but make sure you keep in touch with your GP in case you need anything.

    Take care. xx
