I am a single mum too (although I do have a boyfriend who lives 150 miles away). I have 2 daughters aged 11 and 9.

Took some getting use to but i love being a single mum now would not change a thing. I have a daughter whos 12 and a son whos 8 wanna chat drop me a pm or i have msn if you would prefer.

Gave up a steady job to do an access course & eventually train as a teacher

Don't have family nearby so it's difficult but we manage ok !

I'm a single Mum and have been for 6 very happy years. I've got two daughters of 9 and 6. It's been a long hard slog but I have now seen the light at the end of the tunnel.

im also a single mum well untill the 3rd august when i move to be with my wonderful other half.. i have a daughter 11 going on 25 lol and being single is great but eventually finding a great bloke is wonderful..
