Morning….yawn!!! Managed to sell something on e-bay yesterday that I only put on yesterday
it’s £3 in total so all helps; this needs to be sent off this morning.
I have my list again for today from Flylady so that should keep me quiet for a while.
I have more stuff/clutter that I need to get listed on e-bay today too.
Haven’t looked at the finances yet but should do really as I need to get them up to date.
NSD number 3 for me this week today with any luck.
Have a good day everyone.0 -

mutter, mutter, grumble, grumble...yaaawwwwnnnnn!!!
DD decided that 4.20am was a good time to wake up and she was not going back to sleep for anyone. Colour me not impressed!! she'd better not complain of being tired or grumpy today as I will not be amused...harumph!
Anyway on to today...going to try and get the finances in some sort of order as this is desperately in need of looking at.
I have also got my list for the day from the Flylady thread to keep my occupied.
Have a good day everyone, off to get my third cup of coffee.....0 -
It’s Friday
been a long time coming this week but I’m glad it’s here.
Have managed 4 NSD’s this week, today won’t be one as I am going on a bargain hunt to the charity shops with my friend…we are going for a coffee too…much needed
DD was absolutely knackered last night and was asleep in a matter of minutes after being put to bed and didn’t wake up until DH’s alarm went off (she’s that light a sleeper she’d hear a pin drop!)
I have my plan for next week when the kids are off school, we are going to the Transport Museum and making cakes and biscuits as well as going to the park and playing with play-doh and painting…don’t think that the house will be too clean after next week though.
Have a good day everyone and I’ll update later.0 -
It has been a long time coming, indeed!!
Did you get the finances done yesterday???
Enjoy the coffee and charity shop rummage - hope you find that elusive pair of Jimmy Choos for £1 that you can put on ebay for hundreds.....Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Woohoo it's Friday!:D
I've been planning half-term too, have booked us in for a session at the local children's centre doing Chinese New Year things, plus there's a couple of stay and play groups we'll pop in for. I did think about booking DD2 in at nursery as they have a holiday club which is fairly reasonably priced per session, I haven't done that yet but I might see if they have any spaces later for maybe a long afternoon as she loves it, an afternoon 1-6pm is only £6, I was trying to stay away from shelling out as much as poss but might treat her out of my birthday money my mum gave me
Park and library always good - do you have storytimes or activities going on at your local library, they're usually free or minimal cost?Dealing with my debts!Currently overpaying Virgin cc -balance Jan 2010 @ 1985.65Now @ 703.63

First day of half term and the fun has already begun with the arguing and misbehaving…what a fun week I’m going to have ahead of me. Oh hum, never mind.
Things to report moneywise:
DH got paid
Bagged up £10 in 20p’s to bank
Transferred £6 from Paypal so should hit the bank my 22nd
Waiting to hear about DH’s expenses, hopefully we’ll get a letter to say that it’ll be paid before the end of the week.
I need to check DH’s Paypal account and see if he’s got any more money in there worth transferring over.
Shopping is coming today
and I have my list so I can nip to Tesco’s to get the meat for the month.
Got a fairly busy week ahead of me but am desperately trying to make it as cheap as possible.
Have a good day everyone and I’ll update later.
EDIT: Hypno - I did do the finances in the end and they don't look too good but we should be okay this month if we can keep up the NSD's etc.0
